"It's been a long day"
That phrase has a million different meanings.
And it's hardly ever what it actually means.
Why can't we use it for what it means and use a different phrase for all the messed up things that has happened?
For instance "It's been a day."
If you think about it, that can mean a million things based on the person who uses it. Because not one person has the same things happen in a day as someone else.
Not a single person knows how bad or good your day truly is.
You can say it all you want, they won't understand. If you say you've had a long day it seems like it's been a bad day.So.... It's been a fucking day.
