Chapter 2: Where are we?

When I come to, I notice that my head is hurting and the next thing I notice is that we are in a cold room with machines everywhere. Great, what's next, are we going to be raped? Or maybe murdered? A glowing Sphere sits in between the chairs that Amanda and I are strapped to. Everything blurs around me and I see a vision.

Dusty blue-gray rocks form around me, the sky is a dark red color plastered with dark clouds. It was stormy, lighting appeared and not even a second after came the sound of thunder. There was screaming in a language I couldn't decipher, and crying children. A large spaceship hovered over a nearby town beaming blue light towards it. It was the sphere sitting next to me! What is it for? The sphere lifted from the ground to the ship and the ship immediately left.

What was that? I don't know where we are or what that glowing thing is, but we have to get out. I struggle in my chair because I'm tied down to it so tightly.

"Those are unbreakable ties, you'll never get out." A lady says stepping out of the dark. She wore her purple hair in a ponytail, a purple and black jumpsuit and long black heel boots. Dressing up to look like a super villain? Grow up! Next to me, Amanda woke up and started to squirm in her own chair.

"Who are you? Rope girl?" Amanda asks sarcastically.

"Nope, I am Lash-lady." She said proudly. I rolled my eyes, Amanda laughed.

"Okay, so other than the fact that you believe you are a super villain, why did you take us here? I thought I saw a man chasing after us." I say.

"We're going to use you to take over the world by giving you super powers!" She said randomly without answering my question.

"Sorry to ruin your moment, but superpowers are not real." I explained to her, Amanda nodded.

Lash-lady, or whatever her name is, held out her hand and a purple rope came from it whipping around in front of Amanda and I. I think I'm dreaming, this is getting a little weird. I must've dozed off in history class.

Then Lash-lady fell onto the ground and five people stood in front of us. Two girls, three boys. They all wore black and blue suits. Not more super people!

I looked at Amanda who was ecstatic, why? I can't tell you because I have no clue. Amanda can be random, but to be fair, so can I.

"Hello. Who are you?" I asked and Amanda gave me a look like 'you don't know?!' Unfortunately, I do not know.

"Bionic people, and super humans, here to rescue you!" A boy with brown hair said hands on his hips in a superhero pose. How could this dream get weirder?

"Bionic people- I've heard of them being real, but superhuman are real? Amanda, am I okay? Did I fail my algebra quiz or something and then fainted at school?" I asked her, she really looked constipated, or was it excitement? You never know with Amanda. One of the girls with straight brown hair started to untie us really fast.

"Hannah, don't you watch the news?" Amanda asked.

I immediately answered, "no."

When Amanda was untied she stood up, "this is Bree Davenport. Super speed, has bionics." She gestures to the girl who just untied us. Bree smiled. "This is Chase Davenport, also bionic, super intelligent." One of the boys with brown hair, nodded.

"I've heard of them. I mean, girls at school last year wouldn't stop talking about how hot Adam and Chase Davenport were." I say to Amanda, she nodded.
