Chapter 29: Homecoming

**Hannah's POV**

"Hey, guys. Do you know why there's so many people crowding the streets? And why are you guys getting all dressed up?" Skylar asks confused looking through the window of the penthouse.

"Well it's homecoming time, and that's the parade outside. It's going to start soon and we are all going to it. We are just showing school spirit by dressing up like this." Amanda explains to her fixing her hair adding some blue and bronze glitter to it showing off our school colors. I got pretty excited about those colors since it's the Ravenclaw house colors from Harry Potter, and I'm a Ravenclaw.

"Tomorrow is the homecoming dance! Yay!" Bree exclaims excitedly hanging up her homecoming dress that we all went shopping for the other day. We got all of ourselves one, mine is a dark blue two piece dress, beaded on the top half in beautiful patterns. Amanda's is a dark red two piece with dark beads placed all around the front top half. Bree's is a peach dress beaded at the waistline like a belt. Skylar's is hot pink with black patterns all around it. Elizabeth's is light blue with little flowers on it. I'm going with Chase of course. Amanda is going with Kaz. Bree is going with Caleb. Skylar agreed to go with Oliver which surprised all of us. Elizabeth is going with the guy from her AP calculus class named Joey.

"We're going now, see you guys after the parade." Kaz announces as he and Chase head out through the front door. Kaz and Chase are riding along with a friend of theirs named Shawn. I'm actually a little bit nervous, though. Shawn is a bit careless sometimes without realizing it. He's nice and does his school work, but sometimes he doesn't follow all of the rules. I shouldn't worry about Chase and Kaz though, they will be fine.

"You guys be careful, okay?" I call to them before they left.

"Don't worry, we're going to be fine." Chase assures me and we kiss before he and Kaz leave in a rush. Elizabeth walked up to me after the guys left.

"Hey." She says fixing her hair.

"Hey." I reply playing with my Fitbit awkwardly.

"I came over here to tell you that I'm sorry. I've been a jerk to you all month even though you did nothing. Not to mention that I kinda kissed your boyfriend." Elizabeth explains. I look up at her surprised. "And I get it if you don't want to forgive me."

I smile a little and put a hand on her shoulder, "I forgive you, Elizabeth. Don't we all go a little crazy over boys sometimes? You might want to talk to Chase too, he's a little upset, but I'm sure he will forgive you."

"So your not mad at me?" She asks confused.

"Well I was, but it worked out in the end, didn't it?" I reply, "friends?"

"Friends." She answers smiling now too.

"Are all of you guys ready for the parade?" Bree asks us. Oliver, Skylar, Amanda, Elizabeth, and I all nod, so Bree leads us out to the road where the parade should be.

"Aw man, all of the good candy spots are taken." Oliver complains looking over heads, "I told Kaz I'd get him some."

"Don't you think your a little too old to go catching the candy from people?" Bree asks him.

"Oh Bree your never too old for candy." Oliver replies shaking his head.

"Caleb!" Bree shouts when Caleb pops into view. He was standing by a group of people looking at the road. I honestly feel happy for Bree, she's been in a great mood since Caleb showed up.
