Chapter 17

**Hannah's POV**

I woke up around nine o'clock after a good nights sleep. Ah, another day of nothing at the pent house-wait. I quickly stood up. Chase is taking me on a date today! I slip into some jeans and a cute shirt from my closet. I don't really feel like shopping today, but I doubt the girls will let me skip.

When I leave the room to go Into the kitchen, I trip on something on the floor. Wow, typical klutzy me.

"You, okay?" Chase asks me helping me up. I just grin and laugh a little.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Thanks." I answer him standing up. "So who left this book out here? How to-shave correctly? Kaz!"

"I swear it wasn't me. I'm a professional at shaving, see no cuts." Kaz replies. It's already weird that I had to even think it could be been him. Everybody in the room denied it being theirs so, I threw it on the coffee table.

"I'll bet it's Mr. Davenports." Chase says shrugging. Sadly, it probably is. I nod at him.

"So what time are we going out?" I ask Chase, casually flipping my hair over my shoulder and sitting on the couch. I watch while he thinks for a second.

"Four or maybe five o'clock." Chase says and smiles brightly. His eyes are so beautiful with all of the different patterns, mine are just plain green.

"Sweet! What are we doing?" I asked.

"You'll see. It's no fun if you already know." Chase told me. Now I really want to know, but I'll wait for it.

"Hannah, let's go shop!" Bree calls to me. I groan and wave goodbye to Chase and the other guys.

The mall is crowded. It almost seems impossible that we could get through any stores without knocking someone down.

"Let's go into this store. I think I saw an amazing dress for Hannah." Amanda says slipping into the store.

"Remember not too fancy. And aren't you going out for dinner tomorrow?" I ask Amanda while we push through a group of people in the store.

Amanda ignores my question and holds up a cute light blue dress with white lace at the bottom that wasn't too formal looking, but it was still cute.

"Try it." Skylar orders shoving me into a dressing room. The dress is comfortable. The price tag was forty five dollars, I can afford it.

"This is good. I guess it's not that formal." I say stepping out of the dressing room.

"It looks amazing on you! We are definitely getting it." Amanda says starting to walk to the cashier.

"Wait a minute. You need a dress too." I tell her. I change back to my shirt and jeans while holding on to the dress.

We all search a little bit then Amanda finds herself a lacy peach dress. It looked really good on her, so we bought both dresses and left the store. Bree lead us to the hair salon.

A lady with short black hair and bangs took me to one of those tubs to do my hair. Skylar told the lady to give my hair highlights and she walked away to get her hair done. The process took forever! Two hours at the least. My hair now has faint highlights as if the sun only hit those places. Amanda just had her hair trimmed at the bottom, but just barely, leaving all of her long hair nearly the same. Skylar got her hair down in a cute braid, Bree had hers also only trimmed.
