**Hannah's POV**

The best thing about living in this place is Amanda and my secret passage between our bedroom windows. Nobody knows which makes it about ten times better. Behind my closet, there's a random window on the side of the house facing Amanda's bedroom window. It comes in handy when we are grounded. Right now just happens to be the perfect time to use it. I push through the racks of clothes on hangers in my closet and find the window shining little rays of light. With a small creak, the window opens up throwing a cool breeze at my face. Luckily, Amanda's house is only inches apart from ours, so I am able to climb from my room to Amanda's. I knock steadily on her window. Not too loud, not too quiet. Only seconds later Amanda opens the window revealing her puffy red eyes, face streaked with tears. I give her a sympathetic look and do a little summersault onto her carpet. In an Indian style, I sit down and look at her.

"Explain every single detail starting from second one." I ordered her. She collapsed onto her bed and groaned. "Who did this to you? I'm going to go take them out."

"Kaz and I broke up." She admits.

"What? Why?!" I exclaimed. I thought they were great together!

"We got into a fight." Amanda replies.

"Why?! You two were great together!" I quietly shouted so that nobody heard us. Amanda shrugged in response then there was another round of tears.

"Hey, let's just forget about all of this tonight. Let's just watch a movie and talk about how awesome iron man is." I suggested hugging Amanda tightly. "Lighten the mood a bit? Come on, cry it out." Instantly I regret allowing her to cry it out. My shirt and her blanket looks like it was dunked under water! Amanda and I got a bucket of ice cream to eat while we watched movies and laughed at the 'Just Do It' video that practically killed us from laughter. The other thing that we promised to not talk to anyone about was when we jumped around the room dancing to twenty two by Taylor Swift while we pretended that the hairbrushes were actually microphones. Lucky for us her parents didn't bust us.

Amanda and I did our nails in all sorts of colors and had to redo them multiple times. Eventually it became into an eighties thing.

"Come on out!" I call to Amanda. She walks out in her moms real five inch high heels, red and black. Her hair crimped to the point that it was almost an Afro. A colorful jacket on over a bright pink top, and a pair of pink leggings. Wow...

"What a great look on you! You should totally wear that to school tomorrow!" I joke with her. We both laugh and I change into an outfit similar to hers.

To our displeasure, Amanda's mom opened the door. Uh ohh... I jumped into a pile of clothes just before she looked into the room. Lucky...

"Amanda, we have to go over to the Conner's. Mr. Davenport wants to have a talk with you and Hannah. By the way, I like that outfit on you." Her mom explains. I giggle silently at her comment. When she exits the room I step out of the clothing and throw off my shoes.

"I've got to hurry home!" I exclaimed still in the crazy outfit. "See ya in a minute." I crawl through the window and into my own bedroom where my mom and sister stood in my room looking for me.

"Hey, I was in the closet with my headphones on. The song just ended so I heard you." I lied smoothly.

"Why were you in your closet? And why did you turn your music up so loud?" Mom questions suspiciously.
