Maybe we won't last, but I don't mind.

As we dance under the rain with the skies dark as grey
Our eyes still shine brighter unlike any star.
We are guided by the beat of the pitter patter of water.
We'd probably get sick from this, oh but I don't mind.

But with every rain, the sun comes after,
And we lay under the sky, letting the shine and wind dry us by.
I reach out for your hand as you did for mine.
The sun will set soon, oh but I don't mind.

With every minute passing of the light painting new colors,
and we sit atop a tree, watching everything grow dark,
I tell you how this love is glowing, how this love to us is kind.
Time would say that it's getting late, oh but I don't mind.

The sun is gone as it lights up the moon,
And the stars appear like dots on a graph.
While every kiss you leave on my cheek
It is like paint I can't remove (well it's not like I want to remove it,
How I wish it would linger a bit longer.)
It would be 6 AM soon, oh but I don't mind.

Maybe our love's too good to be true.
But I don't mind people thinking our love is faster than a river's rush.
Because the feeling you give me is more than a mere blush.

And if it comes the day that you have a change of heart,
And you finally decide that we've helped each other grow enough,
I'll remember every moment of joy we had, like an unforgettable art,
I would remember every lesson that you've given to me.
so maybe we won't last, oh but I don't mind.

But just so you know,
it wouldn't be too bad if we do last.
