Tell me,
How could you wake up next to what you promised would be your only
And yet all you think of is some other woman's scent of cologne?
How could you look at your wife's lips that you once kissed with afire love
And yet your disgusting mouth yearns for the tongue of another?
How could you just walk away from the one who approached you at the altar,
And come closer to someone leading you to the darks of temptation?
How could you release your waves of anger at the one who swore her love would not falter,
And preserve your flirtatious smile for someone who relieves your frustration?
How could you bear to still pretend to love the promise you broke
And become 'real' with the one you used to break the vow?
How could you be such a heartless husband
And yet you are a passionate fling?
How could you?
