Love the Unloved

Before the rose reaches its brink
Of its leaves touching the ground,
The sunshine holds its colors of pink
And the breeze gives another chance to live.

Before a puppy, full of dread in his heart,
Prepares for its death in a cage full of heart,
A human, full of warmth, reaches out for his paws,
Replacing its tears with the arms full of love.

Once a lost child, wandering the dark alone,
Flooded forests with his tears, with crows pecking on his soul.
But hope came to him, two figures as its form,
Welcoming him in their hearts, giving him a chance of home.

A girl of sadness; oh how she was the midnight strike itself.
She was the nights without luminescence
And the clouds blocking the moon.
But her hope came to her, he was a light;
Teaching her to light up the stars even in deep fright.

Well, the list goes ever on,
I'll let you observe the rest for yourself.
Can't you see? It's a beautiful thing,
To be giving love to those unloved.

Because unknowingly
To an innocent soul,
We save a precious life
On the edge of falling
From a cliff.
