After a nasty break up and moving to a new place, Anna & Drew begin to communicate through letters. Will they be able to fix their relationship?
(A/N: This story is inspired by the song I Hate U, I love U by Gnash & Olivia O'brien.)
"Hi and welcome to Tuesday's Top Music. The show that tells you about this weeks too music. I'm your host Anna." I say into the mic.
"Our first song at number 10 is Love Over Sea, by "The Dudes." A local band that is right here in our school." After I announce the song I play it for everyone to hear. I love listening to the local band. Their music is actually really good.
"Anna." I look over to see the teacher that runs this club.
"Yes?"
"I would like you to answer some calls after you finish with the list." She says. I nod and go back to listening to the song.
"Alright and this weeks number 1 song is," I pause for dramatic effect." Fairly Local by Twenty One Pilots!" I quickly press a button that makes a clapping and cheering noise.
"Alright now, I will be answer questions about the show, so please call if you have any questions." It didn't take long before I had my first call.
"Hi your talking to Anna, what is your question?" I ask.
"Yes hi, I was wondering why your show sucks so much?" The voice asks. I could basically hear the person smirking through the phone.
That kind of hurt. I thought my show was doing really well.
"I-I'm sorry that you think that. I'm not sure. Thank you for asking." I hang up and answer the next call.
"This is Anna." I say.
"Can someone else do this show?"
It hurt having these calls. I though people actually liked this show. I normally have a large view amount.
"I'm sorry but no. Thank you for your question. Well that's it for today. Until next week! Anna is out." I say my ending slogan and end the broadcast.
"Anna, maybe we shouldn't take calls anymore." My teacher sighs.
The bell rings signaling that it's lunch time. I grab my bag that was under the table and head out the door. I decided to go to my locker and put my bag away first. As I walked down the hall, a lot of eyes where on me. They were all glares.
I don't think people really like me here. I haven't made a friend all year and it really sucks. I hate feeling so alone. I finally made it to my locker. I put in my combination and pull the door open. As the door swings open a white card falls out. I pick it up and examine it.
You're a loser and your talk show sucks. You should just go home, we don't want you here. ~ Anonymous
Tears burned my eyes. Why don't they like me? Have I done something wrong? I couldn't think of any reasons. I'm mostly quiet in class so I haven't made any enemy's.
I put the note and my bag in my locker and head to lunch, trying not to let the note bother me.
