Dear Anna,
I got a gift for you today. It's killing me, I want to tell you what it is but I also want it to be a surprise. Plus it won't be as special if you are expecting to get it right away. Do you have any guesses of what it is? You can guess but I won't tell you.
So I went shopping on my own. It was weird not having you there telling me what to get. I had to find everything on my own. I didn't like it. I felt like I was the responsible one but that's you. You usually got all the stuff while I went around and got all the candy and snacks we didn't need. I didn't get anything like that. I only got boring things like shampoo and socks. The beginning of the shopping trip wasn't that exciting. The second part was though. When I got your gift ;)
My mom showed me the plane tickets. I'm actually really nervous. I've never been on a plane before and I'm terrified of heights. What if I start freaking out in the plane! How will I get down? And what if I have to go to the bathroom? Do I just have to hold in until I get off? Anna, how did you deal with the flight? I know you are scared of heights as well. I can imagine you freaking out. Do you remember when we went on that kids roller-coaster? When it went up you screamed. It wasn't even that high. You grabbed onto me and closers your eyes. You looked so cute. I tried so hard not to laugh when you screamed. It was funny but sad at the same time. I felt bad that you were scared.
Also, do you remember when I tried to get you to go on the Ferris wheel? You literally ran the other way when I mentioned it. It took me forever to get you to go on it. Finally when I got you on it, you didn't look on the way up but when we stopped at the fair top I made you look. I've never seen you smile so big. You begged me for my phone so you could take a picture. I still have that picture. I actually printed it out so I'll send it with this letter.
Here's a beautiful sunset for a beautiful girl.
Love you to the moon and back,
Drew
