SO THIS IS A HIGH SCHOOL REUNION & I HAVE NO CLUE WHAT HAPPENS DURING THESE

"I don't know if this is such a good idea..." You tried to stop your friend. She was pushing you inside your old high school's cafeteria.
"Come on! It's been how long," she thought,"like five years?"
You sighed and entered the building with her. Adults crowded the dance floor, some of them you recognized.
"What if I see him?" You gulped.
"Stop worrying! It's supposed to be a fun night," your friend lead you towards the front of the stage. You found some of your friends and began chatting away.
"I'll be right back," you said when you realized how dry your throat was. You made your way towards the food and drink table.
You poured yourself a cup of water, almost spilling it when you heard someone call your name.
"Y/N?" You turned around. It was Teddy.
"Do you have to go?" You begged your boyfriend, Teddy, to not leave you.
"Y/N, this is a dream of mine. I want to take after my old man." He fixed the Marine hat on his head.
"You're going to get yourself killed!" You sobbed and collapsed into his arms.
"I love you, Y/N. But, I have to go." Teddy let you go and walked deeper into the airport. He left you there, stranded alone.
Years have passed since Teddy left you to join the Marines. You two broke it off through the letters you sent each other. It was for the better good. But, that didn't meant your feelings left completely.
"Teddy," you exhaled. "I didn't think you could make it."
He laughed, clearly understanding what you meant. "I finished my three tours."
You rose your brows,"Wow."
He nodded in response,"So, what have you been up to?" He poured himself a cup of water as well.
"Following my dream as well," you laughed sadly.
He pursed his lips,"Y/N?"
"Yeah?"
"Would you mind if we, uh, go for a walk outside?" Teddy gestured to the doors. You shrugged, but agreed.
"She did that?" Teddy exclaimed.
You laughed,"The whole thing!"
"Wow, things got crazy since I left." Teddy laughed along, but trailed off when he saw your expression. "Do you think we can start again?"
"W-what?" You were shocked.
"Do you want to start again?" Teddy asked hopefully.
You smiled,"I'd love to."
