Danny's POV

Danny made his way down the stairs, wearing the clothes given to him by Y/N. (Picture below)

"Hey Y/N?!" Danny called out.

"Yeah?!" Y/N yelled back, as Danny finally made his way into the kitchen where Y/N was making macaroni and cheese.

"Are you sure it's okay for me to wear these? I mean... I don't want you to get in trouble or anything." Danny said unsure. Y/N shrugged and turned back to stirring,

"I don't really think it matters. My brother moved out two years ago... if he really missed the stuff he left behind he would come get it." she smiled and turned off the burner. Danny sat down at the breakfast bar as Y/N set a bowl of macaroni and cheese in front of him.

"Thanks Y/N!" Danny exclaimed, already digging in. Y/N giggled as she sat down next to him and began eating as well,

"You're welcome Danny!" At that they both ate the entire pot of macaroni.

*slight time skip... I let you guys have time to eat your macaroni XD*

Danny sighed, leaning back in his chair,

"Aw! I can't remember the last time I had macaroni and cheese and that hit the spot! I'm soooOOO stuffed now!" he said stretching his arms behind his head. Wincing when he stretched his injured shoulder too much. He then turned back to watching Y/N putting their dirty dishes in the dish washer.

"I'm glad you liked it!" Y/N smiled back at him.

"So um... where did  your brother go?" Danny started. Just then Y/N finished putting away the rest of the dishes and sat next to him again. 

"I thought you would have already figured that out!" Y/N laughed gesturing to the shirt he was wearing that said, 'Artists never sleep'.

"Oh! He's an artist! That's cool!" Danny exclaimed, looking closer at the shirt he was wearing, which actually fit him pretty well. Y/N smiled sadly, reaching out her hand and gently caressing the words on the shirt,

"Yeah..." Danny looked over at Y/N's sad face,

"You miss him don't you...?" Danny whispered, never taking his eyes off of her. Y/N didn't speak, she only nodded, tearing up a little bit. Danny watched as she slowly reached up and whipped her eyes with the edge of her sleeve, averting her eyes from his. Danny hesitantly reached out his own hand and placed it on her cheek, wiping away a stray tear with his thumb. He then gently brought up her face a made her look at him,

"Hey... it's going to be okay." He smiled, "I promise... I'll always be here for you!" he whispered. Y/N smiled faintly,

"Really...?" she asked hopefully.

"Of course Y-N... Y/N." Danny finished softly as she hugged him for the second time tonight. He hugged Y/N for... how long..? He didn't even know anymore, all he did know is that she soon fell asleep still wrapped up in Danny's arms. Danny pushed a few strands of hair out of Y/N's beautiful, sleeping face and sighed lovingly,

"Alright... we should get to bed now." He whispered, carefully picking up the H/C haired, E/C eyed girl and gently trudged up the stairs to her room. Danny tip toed his way to Y/N's bed and placed her down gently and began to remove her shoes. Finally he very carefully, undid Y/N's ponytail, he knew how his sister Jazz got if she woke up with her ponytail in... she freaked! Then slowly slipped off her black, hipster glasses and set them aside on the bedside table. Even more carefully than before, Danny picked Y/N up again and moved the blankets aside to make room for her underneath. Placing the F/C blankets over the girl, Danny quietly walked over to the pile of blankets Y/N set out for him earlier.

Danny took the green washcloth and found his way to the bathroom. After washing his face and brushing his teeth with an extra tooth brush, Danny made his way back to Y/N's room to find her still sleeping. But this time, he noticed her shivering. Taking the thickest blanket  that Y/N gave him to use, he gently spread it out on the shivering girl and began taking the other blanket he had and laid it out on the floor so he could sleep, when he began worrying. 'What if Y/N has a fever?! What should I do!' Danny thought to himself. Finally he made up his mind and stood up, placing a hand on Y/N's forehead. She was hot to the touch! 'Oh no! What do I do?! What do I do?!' Danny thought again as he started pacing. Then it hit him... he'd seen it in the movies all the time, could it really work? He blushed looking over Y/N's small, shaking figure. 'I have to do this for Y/N! She's the first and probably my only friend I have right now! Besides she'd do it for me... right?' Danny stood, still unsure when finally he moved the covers aside again and climbed in beside the sleeping girl.

Slowly but surly, Danny placed his arms around Y/N's small form and felt just how warm she really was, but to Y/N it must have felt below freezing! As soon as Danny's arms were wrapped securely around her, she flipped around and snuggled into Danny's chest as if she needed his warmth to survive. Which Danny thought might be true. He was surprised at first but his grip never faltered, as he held onto Y/N as if he needed her  to survive. Finally Danny's eyes softened, slowly becoming a victim of sleeps pull. He smiled as he gave one last look at the sleeping girl in his arms, "Good night Y/N... I hope we can be best friends forever..." At that Danny gave up fighting sleep and just let it consume him, but he knew he would be okay... just as long as his  Y/N was still in his arms...
