Y/N's POV

"Ow ow ow ow ow ow OW!" Y/N complained in pain as the large needle pierced the skin on her back, inserting pain medication into her blood stream before giving birth.

"It's okay (cute nickname), I'm right here!" Danny exclaimed in worry, wincing as Y/N tightened her grip on his hand.

"Su-sorry!" Y/N stuttered out as her breathing became shallow.

"Don't forget to breath!" warned a passing nurse, giving them a thumbs up and a bright smile. Y/N smiled back as best as she could before gasping in pain once again. The doctor began getting everything ready for it would only be a matter of time before little Ellie would be fully conscious and breathing in this world.

*Time skip... having a baby takes time... lots of time 0_0*

"Here you are your highness, she's all cleaned up now!" the doctor spoke, carefully handing the new heir to the throne over to her mother... queen Y/N.

"Hello there my little Elizabeth! Oh you're so beautiful my princess!" Danny cooed down to the child as Y/N held her close to her chest.

"Y/N she look just like you! Well... except for the eyes of course!" Danny exclaimed, fawning over his baby even more. Danny was right! Elizabeth looked exactly like her. Beautiful H/C hair, and the facial features were perfectly alike! But Ellie's eyes were the most perfect part of her because they were exactly like Danny's when he was human. Her eyes were the exact shade and deepness of Danny's human eyes!

"You are absolutely perfect!" Y/N whispered into her little Ellie's ear, cuddling her close once again.

"Excuse me! Nurse! When are we allowed to return home?" Danny asked kindly, as the nurse finished writing down the last few measurements of Elizabeth.

"Just give me a few minutes more and we'll have you out of here before lunch time, I'm sure!" the nurse smiled before he walked out of the room. Y/N looked up from her new born baby girl and stared lovingly into Danny's eyes before bursting into tears.

"Y/N?! What's wrong princess?" Danny asked worriedly, immediately coming to her side. She shook her head and half heartily wiped at her eyes.

"It's just.. tha-that I miss my mom and dad su-so much!" Y/N wailed, making Elizabeth become startled and began crying as well, "Oh my! Oh no, no, no, no, no... please hush little one!" Y/N hiccuped as she tried to calm the crying child.

Danny's POV 

Meanwhile... Danny was confused at Y/N's sudden outburst.

"Wa-what do you mean? I thought.." Danny was cut off as his princess practically yelled.

"WHAT?! You thought WHAT?!" Danny suddenly became furious and yelled back.

"I thought that since they were gone so much that you wouldn't miss them at all by now!" At that Danny became quite as he knew that he went too far. Y/N began crying again.

"Just because I became used to them being gone all the time doesn't mean that I didn't miss them every time they left!" Danny quickly started to apologize and embrace his princess but she just brushed it off.

"I-I just want them to see Elizabeth... to see the family we have become! I want Elizabeth to have grandparents and a son-in-law that they love! They must be so worried now... not knowing what happened to me." Y/N whispered, staring off into space. Suddenly Danny had an idea,

"Princess...?" Danny whispered, "Would you forgive me if we went to see them? Maybe a few weeks from now we could take a trip to the human realm and visit for a few days at the most...?" Danny watched over his beautiful princess carefully as he waited for a reaction to his words.
