Y/N's POV

As the school day came to an end, Y/N and Danny walked down the hallway sharing a bag of goldfish. Y/N still was wearing the crown that Danny had given her at the beginning of the day, and she seemed pretty used to it by now... it suited her in a way.

"Hang on I have to stop at my locker, before we get out of here." Danny said, already leading them towards his locker. Y/N nodded her head in agreement eating another hand full of goldfish as Danny pulled a few books out of his locker before lightly slamming it shut.

"Okay, I'm ready to go! How about you princess?" Danny smiled. Y/N felt her face heat up once again, like every other time he called her princess.

"Yeah, I've got everything! Lets go!" Y/N shyly grinned, trying to hide the intense blush. Danny grinned back as they began walking towards the entrance of the school building. As soon as they stepped outside Danny graciously scooped up the unsuspecting Y/N and threw her over his shoulder once again.

"Da-Danny!" Y/N stuttered, the blush creeping up her face one more. Danny chuckled,

"You know... I'm thinking about carrying you everywhere we go for now on!" he joked, shifting so that he was now carrying Y/N bridal style. Startled by the sudden change in movement, Y/N quickly threw her arms around Danny's neck and squeezed her eyes shut. Y/N heard more laughter as she slowly opened her eyes to find she wasn't falling.

"Hey... it's okay. I've got you princess." Danny said in a soothing voice, looking down lovingly at Y/N only making her blush deepen.

"He-hey! What's that?" Y/N asked pointing at the construction on the other side of the road. Danny peered over,

"Oh hey! They're building a Nasty Burger!" Danny exclaimed, excitedly. 'Nasty Burger?' Y/N thought with a confused look that Danny must have noticed.

"Oh.. right! You probably don't know what that is! Don't you?" Danny asked. Y/N shook her head and looked up at the ever smiling Danny.

"Well, it's this really awesome restaurant that they had over at my old town! It may sound gross but the food is really good..." Danny sighed, a look of sadness passed over his face.

"Danny...?" Y/N asked, concern in her voice as she reached up a hand and placed it on his cheek, surprised to find that he was crying. Suddenly he dropped to his knees with Y/N still in his arms. Slowly Y/N pulled Danny into a hug and just let him hold her.

"Danny... it's okay. Hey, how about when the construction is done... we could go there and eat and just hang out. Okay...?" Y/N whispered soothingly, hugging him tighter and he hugged back. Minutes passed and they just sat there, Y/N trying to comfort the homesick Danny.

"Danny, I know it's hard to move to a new place and leave everything you ever knew behind... but you still have me... at least we have each other." Y/N whispered, trying to make Danny look at her. Finally Danny's tear filled blue eyes stared back at her own E/C ones, suddenly Y/N's eyes went wide as Danny crashed his lips into hers, pulling her into a passionate kiss. Slowly Y/N's eyes closed as she melted into the kiss and Danny pulled her closer, deepening the kiss.

Finally they pulled away, out of breath as Danny struggled to stand up again. They continued walking to their houses when Danny spoke up,

"Hey... I'm su-sorry. I just still kinda miss my old town and I-I'm sorry it the kiss.. um.. if you weren't ready or you didn't like it...? I'm just really sorry (cute nickname) I-I'm.." Danny rambled, his face growing red.

"Danny! It's fine... and it wasn't like.. a b-bad kiss or anything..." Y/N trailed off, afraid to finish.
