Excitement in Planning the Future

Y/N's POV

*Time skip to four months later*

"Grace..? Could you please help me for a moment?" Y/N called for the new maid (Sorry if that is your name... if it is then you can change it in your mind or something). Apparently Ulla had quit after Danny's birthday. Danny said she said something about not being needed anymore and stuff like that.

"Yes m'lady, I'll be there in a second!" Grace yelled from the other room. Y/N smiled down at her slowly but surely growing stomach, gently running her hands over it.

"We get to find out if you are a boy or a girl today!" she whispered excitedly. Just then Grace came running into the room.

"Sorry... I just had to finish up putting some dishes away m'lady." Y/N giggled at the young ghost maid as she helped her up.

"Grace, I told you... call me Y/N!" the ghost maid smiled and nodded.

"So what are you going to the doctors for today? Oh! Are we going to find out the gender?!" Grace smiled wide, looking down at Y/N's stomach hopefully, making Y/N laugh again as she nodded.

"Oh I'm so happy for you Y/N! I can't wait for when I get married and have my own baby!" the young ghost maid began talking about all of her plans as soon as she met the one, leading Y/N down to the first floor where they would meet Danny.

"I was wondering... when I find my love can I have my wedding here?! You tell me about how your wedding was and I want it here too!" Grace jumped up and down in excitement. 

"I'm sure we could find a way when the time comes!" Y/N mused. Grace was definitely a lot more social than Ulla ever was, Y/N guessed that's what she had liked about Grace when Danny and her were interviewing for a new maid. Finally they spotted Danny a little ways down the hall, holding open the door and saying something to Vlad, who was indeed coming with them. He had said something earlier about needing to know what the gender was so that he could get a head start on presents for his god-baby.

"Hello my princess! Ready to go?" Danny asked, pulling Y/N close and placing a single kiss on her forehead. Y/N grinned and hugged onto Danny.

"Yep! I'm just nervous..." Y/N whispered as her nerves started getting to her. Danny chuckled,

"Don't worry, besides once we know if the baby is a boy or a girl then we get to decide on the name!" At that, Y/N made her way with Danny and Vlad to the doctor's to hopefully come back with the results of the baby's gender!

"Aright your highness, if you will please follow me." the ghost doctor smiled, leading Y/N, Danny, and Vlad into the ultra sound room.

"If you will please have a seat, I will be with you in a moment." the doctor bowed and quickly left the room. Danny sat by Y/N's side, holding her hand and grinning excitedly.

"Okay... do you think it's a boy or a girl?!" Y/N asked, placing a hand on her stomach and looking towards Vlad and Danny.

"I think a girl, no doubt!" Vlad spoke confidently. Danny smirked,

"Oh yeah..? Well then I think a boy!" Y/N giggled.

"I have no idea but I would have to say.... and alien!" Y/N joked, making Danny snicker and Vlad just plain die of laughter. At that moment, the doctor came back in with a few supplies.

"Okay, I going to have you lay back." she spoke, gently helping Y/N to lay down. The doctor lifted Y/N's shirt so that she could see the little bump as she began applying a clear goo to where the child should be. The cold goo made goose bumps appear on Y/N's arms, which in turn made her shiver. Danny squeezed her hand comfortingly as the doctor began placing something that looked like a mini scanner on her stomach. At that, a fuzzy picture of the child could be seen on the screen.
