*The Truth In The Myth*

*NORMAL P.O.V*

         'Everything I do...Is making me more confused...It used to be easy..' My phone buzzed on the table. Eager to stop the sound echoing in the silent library i lifted the call without checking the id.

"Where the hell are you?" A voice yelled from the other side.

"Ohh!! someone is in a grumpy mood. Why are you up?" I teased not bothering to answer the question.

"Cathy stop messing. I woke up and didn't find you. Where are you?" Zayn demanded. Okay I wouldn't want my room burnt when i return.

"Library." I answered and the call disconnected.

No network! Perfect!

        I scanned the pages of the big fat book in front of me trying to find a connection. It had been an hour since i came here and without Louis it seemed the search would take forever. Yes, I just found out Lou was passing time in the library in the middle of the night. He had just left for hunting, leaving 5 books behind with atleast 500 pages each. I grumbled as I looked at the index of 'All about Angels.'  How was i supposed to look for it? I had no idea. Sighing I dipped my head on the book.

If only I could sleep...

"Okay so why are you here at the library at this hour?" I looked up to see Zayn sitting in the chair across me. He had a dark grey hoodie on and his hair was pretty messed up but not in a bad kind of way. His confused expression reminded me of his question. I lifted the book putting it in front of him.

Oh thank god he is here!

"Search anything related to Jessica." I ordered. He looked at the cover confused.

"The book is about angels Belle. How am i supposed to find about Jessica in it? Then again why are we doing this at this unearthly hour." I stared at him still not knowing why he used that nickname. I was sure i never told him my full name. Nobody used my maiden name. He shook his hand in front of my face and i snapped back to my senses

" first of all its not earth. Secondly I couldnt sleep. Now Look the meaning of Zephania is 'hidden by angel.' and she mentioned a soothing aura around the person she saw in her dream. We believe her Father was an angel. We just need reference about an angel dating a human or something like that." I explained and he dragged his palms over  his face.

"Okay...So you think you will find it in traditional Angel information book? Why not check earth legends or something? plus that information wouldn't exactly prove that she is an angel's daughter." He said looking through the pile of books. I showed him the one in my hand.

"The legends of Mighty Earthieans is a book full of local legends. I didn't find anything useful in it. We were just searching for the basic idea. Its a huge library. I am sure we will find something."

"We were?" He asked looking around.

"Louis was here but he left for hunting so probably he won't be coming for another 2-3 hours. besides theres you and me. that makes 'we'."

          So after another 2 hours the scene was as such. Ally was nudging Harry who was snoring with his head on a book right next to me. Aaron was busy piling up more and more books on the table. I couldn't see Zayn behind the stack but the grumble coming from him once in a while told me that he was awake. How did this happen? After searching for another half an hour. Zayn lost his patience and called up Harry. Ally lifted the call and now here we were in the middle of the night surrounded by books. Our parents would surely be proud if they saw us right now

            I checked the watch. 5.00 AM. Yet we found nothing. "Harry wake the hell up. You sleeping Idiot!!!" Ally banged a book on Harry's head.

"What? Tanya? Where?" He said in confusion, whipping his head around. Ally rolled her eyes as i chuckled.

"Tanya? seriously? You were dreaming about the blueberry..." She muttered scrunching her nose and pulled the book whick he was using as a pillow. I heard the chair on the other side of me screech against the floor and i looked to see Zayn staring at me fairly pissed.

Before he could open his mouth Ally caught our attention. "Hey guys this symbol looks so familiar? Why?" We stood up gathering around her chair.

"Ohh wait" Zayn said pulling out his phone. He set it next to the symbol. There was photo on the screen. A seal in golden wax. The symbol of a hammer and lightening behind it. The exact one that was shown on the page. It was the seal from the letter.

"Why didn't we check this book before?" I questioned.

"Because Hazza here was using it as a pillow." Ally replied smacking on his head.

"Woahh..atleast you found it." He said smiling cheekily.

"No offense but I am just reminding you that we have classes today." Zayn said yawning.

I glared at him. "Yaa how can I forget if you keep reminding me in every 10mins!!" He simply drooped over the table. We were waiting for Jess and the table was cleared in about 10mins. All thanks to Aaron. Looking at him I wished I was a vampire too. I sat looking at the group around the table. Louis had returned with liam, Dani, Ele, Carly and Duke. The librarian Mrs Hylenine looked suspiciously at us but Aaron charmingly convinced and drove her off. 

               "Hey whats up? Ohhh..Sorry I am late again." Jessica said walking towards us.

"Keep your voice low!! Its a library." I whisper-shouted back at her. She simply shrugged taking a seat next to Louis. She scanned the table and  realisation was visible in her eyes.

"You found something..didn't you?" She asked surprised yet with a hint of nervousness. Duke pushed the book slowly in front of her.  

"The Royalty Of Asgard? as in the kingdom of Thor? Ohh i love avengers." Jess blabbered.

"But its a myth.." Niall trailed.

"Ohh we should be myths too..but we are not!" Liam stated.

"Okay the point is..Asgard exists and Thor too and He is a freaking God not an angel." Zayn muttered.

          "Whats going on guys? I don't understand." Jess murmered, her eyebrows scrunched together.

"Love, We believe on the basis of your name 'Zephania' That you were an angel's daughter. But it turns out that you are the daughter of Thor, the king of Asgard." She widened her eyes,

"No No No...There has to be some mistake. I mean come on Thor? Dad? He is hot!!" I shook my head.

"Stupid!! We are not talking about Chris Hemsworth. This is the real one. According to this book he is the current King of Asgard and the Norse myths suggest he is a hammer wielding god associated with thunder, lightening and strength." I replied.

Aaron continued, "Ohh yaa and thursday was named after him..as in Thor's day..so back to the point, He is appointed with the protection of earth, the healing and fertility. that means he could have actually been to earth a lot many times. Theres always some truth in the myths after all."

"But that doesn't explain my connection to him." Jess altered.

                Zayn turned the page and tapped his index finger on the symbol. "Its the royal seal from my father's letter." Jess whispered while moving her fingers on the picture.

"And he mentioned in the letter that you were of royal birth. That means it has to be him." Liam said. Jess shook her head tears welling up in her eyes.

"This is not possible. I am normal..wierd more of. He is a God!!! My mother won't hide such a big secret from me!"

"What if she doesn't know it?" Niall whispered to her.

"Exactly! She said it was like love at first sight right?" Carly added.

"How could he keep it a secret from the woman he loved?" She yelled. Ally held her hand.We had no reply for that. Jessica shut her eyes trying to stop the tears.

"Its enough!" She screeched as she stood up and ran out of the library her foot steps echoing behind her.
