A Poem Just For You "Starry Night"

I wrote this when I got a glimpse of the evening sky. I've found it so peaceful and relaxing.

Day 9

As I watched the starry night
I remember you hugging me so tight
Each star that shines resembles your beautiful smile that captivated me for once in a while

As I watched the starry night
I tried to close my eyes hoping to see you smile even if we can't be for a lifetime.
When it blinks it feels like i'm the only one you think, sorry for being unique

As I watched the starry night
I can hear you say goodbye
Raindrops is slowly falling as I walk in the narrow street hoping.
But then I pause for a minute----something wet is running on my cheeks, just to realize it was tears from my eyes

As I watched the starry night
It made me realize
At some point of time, I can no longer trust a guy, because every word is nothing but a lie

As I watched the starry night
I want to start a new life.
Living today and living for tomorrow, I know I will be alright.
As you've said your goodbyes my heart is slowly dying inside.

As I watched the starry night
I will always remember you and keep you in my mind
As I turn my back, a new journey has come upon me
Without you here with me, I will face all of this indeed

As I watched the starry night
One last glimpse and I will bid my goodbye
Thank you and I'll be gone for a while but you'll have my heart for a lifetime.
