In Thy Womb

This is something that made me think A LOT. The concept sounds easy yet conceptualizing it is another story. I don't know the feeling of having a baby in my womb, but I've seen my mom and others as well. So in order to complete this, I've used it as my references for this short message.

"A Mother's Special"

In the womb of our mother

Where we're kept safe

In the womb of our mother

Where we stayed;

Stayed for 9 months, where they gained weight

In the womb of our mother

Where we're one

Connected together

Mother and child, both striving to be stronger and healthier

In the womb of our mother

Where excitement was written all over their face after feeling the kick of our tiny feet

In the womb of our mother

Where we felt their first warm embrace and loving hands

In the womb of our mother

Where they endured all pains due to maturity of time for us to be safely delivered

In the womb of our mother

We were cared and secretly prepared for the outside world

In the womb of our mother

Where we used to stay and hide before we got out and being welcomed by the world

In the womb of our mother

I know she loves us no matter what will happen

In the womb of our mother

Her love for us will never end

In the womb of our mother

I'll say thanks

Thank you for keeping me safe and sound

Thank you for bringing me home

Thank you for staying strong

Thank you for enduring it all

Thank you for loving me as a whole

Thank you for correcting my err

Thank you for abiding with me

Thank you for teaching me

Thank you for loving me unconditionally

I thank you for overcoming all adversities during your labor

In the womb of my mother

I thank you for bearing all sleepless nights just to take good care of me when I'm sick

In the womb of my mother

I know you'll always be there to lead me back to where I really belong
