Emmett's pov
Carlisle,Jasper,Alice, and I were hunting while everyone was gone and we were having fun. In the middle of draining the blood out of a deer, Alice paused and looked up at me and said while smiling
"Emmett, your phone will ring in a minute and you will be surprised on who it is and what she has to say."
No sooner than a minute later my cell pone rang and I opened it and said "Hello, this is Emmett and what may I do for you today?"
"Hey Emmett!" Cassidy said into the phone. "You are going to be so proud of me."
"Did you do something to Edward?', I guessed and I heard Edward growl in the background.
"Never, I cussed at Tanya because she was being mean to me.", she yelled through the phone. "I gotta go Emmett. Bye!"
I pulled the phone away from my ear and heard Cassidy screaming because Edward was tickling her. Jasper looked at me and asked "So what was the news that you would be so proud of ?"
I grinned and said "Apparently Tanya was talking mean about us and Edward and Cassidy decided to cuss her out. Now, are we going to hunt or what ?"
Irina's pov
The first time I saw the little girl that the Cullens decided to adopt, I didn't like her and now that I'm getting to know her I like her more than ever. We walked into the mall after Cassidy called Emmett and told him what happened in the car.
"So, Cassidy", I said as we stopped to look around. "What kind of things do you like to wear or do?"
She looked at me shyly and said "I like anything but, dresses and I like to listen to music a lot. Can we go to the music store first please?" We walked into the music store and she went around the store and came back with two albums by One Direction. "Can we buy them please Edward?", she asked him with puppy dog eyes. He nodded and we walked out of the store.
"You guys can go on without me", Edward said. He noticed Cassidy face and quickly said "I will be right back Cass." He pressed a kiss on her cheek and walked off.
Edward's pov
I walked away from everyone and went into a jewelry store. I wanted to get Cassidy a promise ring because she was going to school and I wanted her to think of me wherever she went. As I walked to one of the cases I found the perfect one for her. It was gold and it had a red gem in the middle of it. As I was browsing a women came up to me and asked "Can I help you with anything?"
"Yes", I said. "I would like to buy this ring please."
She walked toward the cash register and I followed her. As she rang me up, I tuned into her thoughts and I wish that I hadn't.
"Mhm, he is so sexy, and I wonder if he is married cause I didn't see a ring", she thought.
Just then Cassidy and everyone else came through the door and I sighed with relief. Cassidy came running toward me and whispered "Alice had a vision about this so I came to save you from this". I laughed and kissed her cheek and we left with the things we bought.
*The Next Day*
Cassidy's pov
I walked through the door and saw everyone gone. Suddenly, I got scared.
"Hello" I called my voice echoing through the house. "Anyone home". I walked into the kitchen and found Edward making a sandwich and Tanya staring at him.
"Hey Cass, how was school", he asked.
"Good but, where is everyone", I asked sitting my bag down and glaring at Tanya who was staring at me.
"They went hunting" Edward told me. "Alice layed clothes out on your bed for you to change into".
I told them goodbye and went upstairs to change into the clothes and braided my hair into two pigtails.(In the external link on the side) After I finished I grabbed my flute and started to play a song I wrote for Edward. As I was playing, I heard shouting coming from downstairs. I left my room and ran down the stairs. I ran into the kitchen and saw Edward kissing Tanya. He saw me and pushed her away.
"Cassidy its not what you think" he said coming towards me. With tears pouring from my eyes, I turned and ran out the door and into the forest. As I was running I remembered something, six years ago Esme brought me into this family. I ran and ran until I found everyone.
"Cassidy what's wrong with you" Alice asked me with concern in her voice.
"I went downstairs and found Edward kissing Tanya" I said my voice cracking.
"Everything is oka-" Kate started to say before I cut her off. "No it is not alright Kate, how would you like it if you found the person that you loved kissing another girl" I said sobbing.
"Cassidy, you might want to turn around" Rose told me. I turned and found Edward staring at me with a shocked expression on his face. Oops, I guessed he heard me.
Edwards pov
After Cassidy went upstairs Tanya put her arm on my hand. "Eddie, why do you care so much about her" she asked me. I pushed her arm off of my hand and listened to Cassidy playing on her flute. She had been playing that same song for days and no one knew what it was. We asked her and she would just blush and say it was nothing.
Tanya distracted me by standing in front of me. "Come on Eddie, stop thinking about her and talk to me".
"TANYA IF YOU DON'T LEAVE ME ALONE I SWEAR-" and she cut me off by kissing me. I tried shoving her but, she was using all of her strength. I heard running down the stairs and saw Cassidy standing there looking at me with hurt in her eyes. I pushed Tanya off of me.
"Cassidy its not what you think" I said coming towards her. Tears pouring from her eyes she ran out the door and into the forest. I left Tanya and went after her. I remember six years ago when Esme brought her home I didn't like her but, now I do. I found Cassidy talking to the family.
"I found Edward kissing Tanya" she said to Alice.
"Everything is oka-" Kate tried to soother her as Cassidy cut her off. "No its not alright Kate, how would you like it if you found the person that you loved kissing another girl" she sobbed. I was shocked, she loved me. Rose looked and me and said to Cassidy "You might want to turn around". When she turned around and saw me I felt happy for once in my life.
