"So, I heard that a certain someone is sleeping the the living room couch right now.." Amelia said standing at the door of my room.
"Yes, yes he is." I said sitting up. She walked into my room and laid next to me on the bed, I put my head on her shoulder.
"So are you changing your mind about giving him a chance? Is he gaining your trust back?" She said, it's like she could read my mind.
"I don't know, I mean if only you had seen the way he defended Evelyn and I last night. He seems so genuine about wanting a second chance and about how much he regrets what happened. I just keep asking myself if it would be such a bad thing to give him a chance." I said.
"Would it?" She asked.
"I'm really starting to think it wouldn't." I finally said. "He's not moving back to New York." I said after a few minutes of silence.
"What?"
"He told me last night, he's staying for good. He said he want to be a part of Evelyn's life and that he doesn't want to miss a single second anymore."
"Wow.. I mean, if anything that proves that he's serious about this. Doesn't it?" She said.
"Yeah. It does." I said smiling.
"I think what's best right now is to take it slow, start over, go on dates, get to know each other all over again and then just see what happens."
"Why are you always so right?" I said and we laughed.
"Because I am." She said and we laughed even more. "C'mon, let's go eat breakfast. I'm starving." She said and we got up from the bed, then Liam walked into my room.
"Did you steal my wife again?" He said and we all laughed.
"Sorry. I needed a girl talk." I said and he smiled.
"I wanted to tell you that I believe that Luke has changed and if you think you should give him a chance, I wouldn't be against it anymore." Liam said taking me completely by surprise.
"Really?" I said in shock.
"Yes. I think we should all give him a chance, me included." He said and I was even more surprised.
"Thank you." I said smiling at him.
"But I'm serious about what I said last night, if he breaks your heart again I will show no mercy this time."
"I know, Liam, I know." I said before I left the room. "What do you guys want for breakfast?" I asked before I kept walking.
"Chocolate chip pancakes." They both said at the same and and I laughed.
"Chocolate chip pancakes it is." I said and walked into the kitchen.
"Good morning." I heard a voice say behind me and I jumped and turned around to see Luke and I let out a deep breath.
"Oh my God! You scared me." I said and he chuckled.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you." He said.
"I just- I guess I forgot you were here for a minute there." I said and we both stood there in complete silence for a few seconds.
"So, what are you doing?" He said breaking the silence.
"Oh. Uh. I'm making chocolate chip pancakes."
"I have seriously missed your chocolate chip pancakes, I just can't seem to make them as good as you."
"Well, you're more than welcomed to stay and eat breakfast with us if you want" I said and smiled.
"I would love that but would Liam be okay with it?" He said.
