The Deal

Normal P.O.V.

"Please don't do this to him. We'll let you go, we'll let you go free. He'll clear your name and you'll never step foot in prison again. Just please don't make him leave us again." I pleaded desperately.

"Shut up before I lose my patience and kill you right now." He said and I just cried.

"Stop crying." He said angrily but my pregnancy hormones and the fear wouldn't let me stop.

"I can't." I said trying catch my breath.

"Just-" he started to say but then Nathan walked through the door.

"Lydia. How lovely to see you. I have someone for you that is dying to see you. Ashley bring her in." He said and Ashley walked in holding my daughter in her arms.

"Evelyn!" I said trying to her up but with my feet and hands tied it was impossible. "Give her to me!" I said desperately as I saw my daughter crying tried to come to me.

"No! I don't want to." He said.

"Poor Luke, such a fool. I sent him on a goose chase told him I was somewhere else, I knew that your brother would go with him and so while they were gone Nathan went to get your daughter. " David said laughing.

"What did you do to Amelia?" I said.

"Don't worry. I'm not heartless, I wouldn't hurt a pregnant lady. I had a gun pointing to her, it was either her baby's life or Evelyn. A mother's heart always wins. Poor thing is probably beating herself up right about now." I wanted more than anything to slap him in that moment.

"You asshole!" I yelled and David's phone started to ring.

"The real show is about to begin." David said as he picked up the phone. "Luke. I presume you heard that I now have Lydia and your daughter." David said with a grin. "Don't. Speak to me in that tone." He said and I couldn't make out what Luke was saying but he sounded so angry. "The thing is that I don't really care what I said, because of you I was in prison for a year and well now you have to pay for that." I wish I could hear what Luke was saying.

"I just want you to understand that I'm not playing around. If you don't do as I say I will go after everyone that you love." I just wish this nightmare would end.

"Okay. 8 o'clock at the warehouse. You come with me and I'll let them go but you'll never see them again after tonight. Understood?" He said and then hung up the phone.

"Please don't do this. You can't let Evelyn grow up without her dad, she has right" I said.

"And I don't care." David said. "Now, shut up and come on." He said as he untied the rope from my feat but not from my hands.

"Can you please give me my daughter." I said.

"No." David said.

"Look, I won't try anything. I won't put my daughter's life in danger." I said but he wasn't convinced. "I-I'm pregnant. I'm pregnant and I won't put my unborn children's lives in danger, just please let me hold my daughter so she's stop crying." I said hoping that it would convince him.

"Children?" He said.

"I'm pregnant with twins." I said.

"Does Luke know?" He asked.

"No, he doesn't." I said.

"Marvelous. Seems like history will be repeating itself but this time he'll know so that he'll spend his whole life tortured because he won't be there for his kids." David said and then he faced Ashley. "Let her hold the kid." He said as he untied my hands and I reached for my daughter. Once she was in my arms, I felt a little bit of relief.
