Chapter 4
OH...MY...GOD!!!
Who the hell was watching me? I was starting to freak out. I mean who the hell was it?
Should I text them and ask who they were? Or should I just ignore it?
I lay on my bed for a while just staring up at the ceiling and wondered who it could be.
I must have nodded off because it was nearly midnight when I looked at my clock. I got off my bed and slipped into my pyjamas and quickly got into bed to warm up.
* Next morning *
My alarm woke me suddenly and I leapt out of bed.
I was usually a good morning person, I don't know why but I always have been.
I plugged in my straightening irons and waited for them to heat up. I changed into my uniform and tied my hair into a high, messy pony tail. I used the irons to straighten my fringe before going downstairs.
I had another driving lesson this morning to prepare me for my test coming up soon.
I bounded out of the house to meet the driving instructor who had come to collect me. I text Stacey to let her know I'd be late.
I arrived at school an hour late but I had a free lesson anyway. I got out of the car and headed towards the sixth form block to find Aaron and Calvin talking.
"Hey Roxy you ok? How was the driving?"
"It was good Aaron. He thinks I'm nearly ready"
"Wow that's great" Cal replied.
Becca came bouncing in with a big grin on her face.
"Hey Bec you ok? Do you mind if we talk?" she nodded and she grabbed me by the hand and we walked outside to sit on the benches.
"After we finished talking last night I got a text from someone." I got out my phone and showed her the message.
"OMG who was it?"
"I don't know" she pulled her phone out and looked through her contacts to see if she had the number.
Her face froze.
"What is it Bec? Who is it?"
She looked up from her phone "It's Finnley."
My jaw dropped and I was speechless. Just as I looked back to the sixth form block, I saw him walking out. I didn't know whether to look away or not. He saw me and winked at me.
He seemed to mouth something but I was never good at lip reading. He walked towards the sporty but my eyes followed him. What was it about him that interested me? He was a player and I hated guys like that for the way they treat girls.
"Roxy has he actually spoken to you since you bumped into him yesterday?"
"No he hasn't apart from that text last night." my phone buzzed on the table and I picked it up. It was a message from Finnley.
Do you think we could meet up later and talk? x.x
I looked up at Becca and didn't say anything.
"What is it?" all I could do was turn the phone around for her to read it.
"What you gunna do?"
I sat there for a while thinking of what to do. "I honestly don't know. What do you think I should do?" just as she was about to answer, Aaron and Calvin walked out and they could sense that the atmosphere was tense.
