Miranda's pov

Jason and CJ are playing onstage and they are the cutest daddy son duo. The fans are eating it up. Jason throws a hand in the air with a signature rock and roll hand gesture. "That was big green tractor with my awesome son CJ!" Oh he's so amazing. CJ runs to me backstage. "Great night." He says, wanting me to pick him up so I do. Jason gets his guitar back. "Last song of the night guys." He plays asphalt cowboy and CJ falls asleep in my arms. He comes backstage and smiles. "Wow, really wore him out." Jason says, trying to catch his breath. "Great show." I say, kissing his cheek. He smiles and holds my hand. We go to the bus and lay CJ in his bed. Jason's arm around my waist. "He's a beautiful baby boy." He says, kissing my head. I smile. "I love you." He kisses me again. "I love you too."

*4 days later*

It was two hours before the show and we were chilling in his bed while Tully kept an eye on CJ. His hands were behind his head with his hat covering his face. "Hey Jay, tomorrow is CJ's fourth birthday." I say. He sits up quickly. "It is?" I nod. "We gotta get stuff for his birthday then." "He's not the party kinda guy. He just wants you to announce it at the show tomorrow night." He stares ahead surprised. "Since when did a kid his age not want a party?" I shrug. "He's not a big fan of them I guess."

Jason's pov

My eyes go wide in realization. "Wait a minute. He doesn't or you don't?" She looks away. "Baby girl talk to me." "It's hard for me to celebrate that day.... Ya know..... Because our parents died that day!" I hug her tight. "I know it's hard hun but..... We should throw him a birthday party like normal kids." I stand up and get my keys. "Let's go."

Cj's pov

Dad calls me outside so I set down the puzzle piece from the puzzle me and uncle Tully were working on. I walk down the steps and my jaw drops. "What's this?" I gasp. Dad picks me up. "Happy birthday son." He says, hugging me. There's cake and balloons. "Wow!" I gasp in awe. He sets me down.

Jason's pov

He runs to the party and Miranda steps off the bus. "This is good for him." I say as we walk over. He runs around excited and trips. I catch him before he faceplants. "Nice save." Rich says. I laugh and nod. We throw a birthday party and he loved it. Then it was time for the show. I dress him in the cowboy garb we both wear when onstage. Miranda goes first since she's my opener. "Sissy sings really good." CJ says. I smile and nod. "That she does, buddy that she does."

*his daydream*

CJ is ten years old now and our daughter Emma is four. I finish watching the bulldogs game with him when I hear her wake up. Before I even get up, he runs upstairs. I follow seconds later and stand beside my wife watching our son play patty cake with our daughter.

*daydream over*

I shake the thoughts as my wonderful girl sings onstage. I can't wait to start a family with her. "Hey dad it's our turn!" CJ gasps tugging on my hand and holding his small guitar. "Oh uh yeah. Let's get a move on, little dude." He runs onstage and hugs her legs. I walk out after him and wave to the crowd. "Ya did great baby." I say, kissing her. "Have fun boys." She says waving and walking backstage. "Hey guys. Who's ready to burn it down!"
