Jason's pov

"Baby you can't be mad at me forever!" "I can't believe you forgot our anniversary! That was a day I'll never forget. A day I looked into the bottom of my coffee cup and I knew I had finally found the one." I bite my lip. "I'm sorry. I had so much on my mind. I wasn't even thinkin'." She just crosses her arms and turns away. "Baby please!" I beg. "No I'm mad at you." Man, this is hard. CJ pokes his head out. Her eyes go wide. "You're supposed to be in bed." She says, her voice harsh, not usual. This is weird. She never talks to him like that! He quickly disappears back down the hallway. "Ok you can be pissed at me, I get it I understand why but don't take it out on him." I say, pointing. "Oh shut up, Jason, he's not your kid anyway!" Her eyes go wide. "Jason, I'm sorry I didn't mean that!" I sigh. "It's okay. Hun, lemme take ya out tomorrow for our anniversary I'm sorry I forgot." She sighs. "Alright I'm sorry I said that. I really am." "It's okay hun." I smile and pull her into a hug. "You know I love you more than anything baby." "Yeah I know."

*the next day*

We go out to dinner at one of her favorite restaurants, a very fancy Italian place. I can't pronounce the name. We get a table and I hold her hand under the table. "Wow Jay this place is super expensive you're going all out today." I smile. "Of course it's our anniversary isn't it?" She laughs. "It sure is." She leans across the table and I do the same to a passionate kiss. We decide just to get a spaghetti plate to share.

*later*

We were eating when I realized we were eating the same piece of spaghetti. I smile and pull her into a kiss. "How'd you get stuck with me?" I whisper, holding her in my arms. "I was lucky enough to have a crazy little brother who ran onto the red carpet." Luke texts me saying the kids are asleep. "Babe we got all night what do ya wanna do?" I paid the tab and we headed to the bar we first made out in. Her fingers laced together around my neck, mine around her waist as I lean against the wall. "The place I fell in love." She whispers. I smile and kiss her softly. "Man for five long years I gladly get to be with a girl like you. Babe I wish I met you when we was kids." "Oh Jason, it doesn't matter how many years we're together. I'll still always love you." "Me too, sweet girl."
