A tall, pale man picked up a tray in front of a white door. To his surprise, the door opened slowly. A girl was revealed.

"Miss Lucy?" Capricorn inquired.

"Good afternoon, Capricorn," She smiled. "I wanted to thank you for the food you gave me. And forgive me for ignoring your calls,"

"Good afternoon to you, too, Miss Lucy. But, it should not be me you are apologizing and saying 'thank you' to. Nonetheless, I very much oblige for the acknowledgment," Capricorn bowed.

"Oh, uh. . you're very welcome. . but, who should I be apologizing and thanking?" Lucy's brow was curved upwards.

"Lord Cheney," Capricorn said.

"I see. . ." She bit her bottom lip.

"Please come out, Miss Lucy. It is not good to stay inside the room all the time," Capricorn suggested.

"I will take that suggestion into consideration. Thank you again, Capricorn." After, Lucy locked the door.

Lucy took a deep breath and opened the door once  again.

Six dragons were standing at the big balcony. Looking beyond in the nirvana. They were snapped back to reality when they heard quiet footsteps enter the living room.

'Who is that?' Sting whipped his head 'It sounds like the person ain't wearing any shoes. It can't be the maids or butlers' Sting concluded.

"Uhm..." All of them saw a girl in white come outside with them on the balcony.

"Lucy..?" Rogue narrowed his eyes at her. Not believing that she's actually out here. Not in her room.

"Yes, it's me. Lucy. I just came to say something," Lucy looked down. Never had she thought she would have to say thank you to a despicable creature. For the second time. Rogue raised a brow.

"Alone," She said.

"Alright then. Do you guys mind?" Rogue averted his eyes from the strawberry blonde to the other creatures. They gave a nod and left. Closing the door behind them. Now, it was only Rogue and Lucy on the balcony in the gloomy weather.

"You really have a lot of pride, don't you?" Rogue walked towards the railing and leaned on it.

"Only when it comes to you, dragons," She leaned on the railing beside Rogue. He chuckled.

"How come you're out?" Rogue inquired.

"I wanted to say..." She trailed off.

"Well?"

"I..." She paused. "wanted to say..thank you,"

"Thank you? For what?" Rogue laughed in a sinister tone. His eyes has darkened, and his teeth were clenched. Tight.

"Thank you for asking Capricorn to serve me food,"

"You know," He turned to Lucy. "You should never. And I mean NEVER. Say 'thank you' to a dragon," He came face-to-face with her. Lucy backed up a bit.

"Why? Why is it so bad? I'm just showing my gratitude,"

"Yes, well..that 'gratitude' is weakness to us. If you want to be safe. I suggest you don't say thank you anymore. Neither, 'sorry'. We kill off the weak," He said. Lucy nodded slowly. "Good," He turned back to the murky scenery before them. A deafening silence was waving over them for a while.

"How long has those cuffs been there?" Rogue asked.

"Wh---?"

"Just answer my question," He said strictly.
