A blonde girl sat down on the white couch. She was dressed in an aqua, off-shoulder dress; the skirt of the dress flowed nicely, and reached down to her calves. Her feet were bare. Her eyes wandered around the living room. (A/N: You know when you're at someone else's house and you're sitting down...that awkward moment. Been there, done that so many times! Anyways..) She was restricted from leaving the living room now. They locked the bedroom door so she wouldn't be able to lock herself in again.
I guess it's better than being a room full of dead bodies. . . but then again, I'm in a room full of shit heads. . . She sighed loudly. Her leg was on top of the other; her arm rested on her knees; while her head rested on her palm.
"What happened to you?" Lucy jumped little. At the corner of her eye she noticed a pair of gray, scaly arms, resting on the couch.
"Gajeel," She growled.
"Aren't you grumpy?" He sat on couch, keeping his distance from the grouchy female.
"Well. . . what do you expect? For me to be happy and giddy? I have to stay in this very living room!" She put her hands in the air as if she was hysterical. "I can't go back to 'my sanctuary' since there's a heap of dead corps there; you six locked me out of the room. . . I can't walk around the castle or outside of it. . . and there's nothing better to do!" She sighed, loudly. Gajeel looked at her weirdly. But then also joined the blonde in her loud sighs.
"Here. C'mon, follow me." The long, raven-hair stood up. Lucy raised her brow, but stood up as well. Gajeel walked through a corridor, lit by bright candles. He opened a big, dark oak door. Lucy's eyes widened. The room was filled with shelves full of books, all of different colors and sizes. A black rectangular table was in the middle with black armchairs . A single, bright candle lit the whole room. On the table was a stack of blank papers a white feather pen and ink.
"Wow. . ." She stared in amazement.
"So, you're a bookworm, eh?" Gajeel sat in one of the black chairs. Lucy rolled her eyes.
"I never knew you were quite the reader," Lucy commented.
"I'm not. It's Cobra and Rogue," Gajeel replied. He grabbed a random book from the nearest bookshelf. "What the fuck is this?" He narrowed his eyes at the certain book.
"Let me see," Lucy looked at the book. Her eyes widened, and her face became flustered. Steam came out of her ears.
"Oi! What happened?" He dropped the book and held the girl from the back. The girl's back was arched. His face was a centimeter away from the girl's face.
"T-That. . . b-b-book. . h--has i-inappropriate c-c-content!!" The blonde kept on stammering. It took a few seconds before metallic creature understood what she meant.
Is this what Cobra and Rogue are into? Seriously?
"Surely not all books here are this type of book. . . er. . well, maybe it's just a few books," Gajeel tried to calm the pale girl. The blonde nodded. She composed herself. She stood up. Gajeel let go of her.
"Alright. Now that's done with. I'll be gone," Gajeel said, then left the girl by herself. The girl walked over to the stack of papers and sat down. She grabbed the pen and started writing something.
A maroon-haired creature walked into the library. Right away, he smelled and saw the blonde.
"Lucy. . ." He sighed. He walked over to her.
"Lucy," He said again. "I. . I know I'm gonna sound weak and cheesy, but. . . no one's here. . so, you better listen up, alright?" He said to the sleeping blonde.
"I'm sorry. I'm sorry that I kissed you like that, that very night. I. . . didn't know what came over me. . . I just had this desire to touch those lips of yours. Forgive me, alright? I would understand if you hate me and think of me as a rapist, but. . I'm not. . . I really didn't understand myself. . but. . forgive me, please?
Also, I'm sorry that I poisoned you. . . that must've been a pain, huh? Well. . . again, I didn't know what came over me. ." He explained to the sleeping blonde.
"Well. . good night," He took his white coat off, and laid it on top of the strawberry-blonde. Cobra now only wearing a black, sleeve-less tee. He blew out the candle and left the room.
"Good night. ." A certain blonde said in her sleep.
A pinkette was walking along the corridors. He decided to go to the library. Hoping to find something that'll interest him, but he doubted it. He opened the door, and immediately saw the room engulfed by darkness. He smelled the blonde. He found his way to the atlas lantern and lit the lantern. He was about to leave when he heard mumbling. He looked behind him and saw the blonde groggily rub her eyes. He came closer to the girl. Once the girl was able to clearly see, her eyes widened.
"Natsu!" She shrieked at their close contact. Their noses were touching.
"Geez! Keep it down, would ya? I was just about to leave," He had a scowl. "Also, I suggest you to go back to your room. It's unlocked now. Or to the living room. Unless, you want to be the hunch back of the dragon realm." He left the room, not noticing Cobra's coat.
Lucy got up, the coat still on her and she left to go to her room and slept on the couch there.
