The blonde looked at herself through the mirror. Her eye bags have gotten darker. Her eyes got darker. She looked monstrous. She licked her chapped lips. She sat at the edge of the bed. She hasn't eaten since yesterday. Meeting the six beasts.

She's been trying to sleep, but nightmares kept coming. Nightmares about her dying, her family, the dragons' blood lust. She was too scared to sleep or go outside. She was so weak. Then, if she tries to sleep, she's afraid she'll never wake up again. The protection spell has already vanished. Leaving Lucy a feeble and helpless girl. She rubbed her weary eyes. She stood up, stumbling a bit. She walked over to the balcony. Opening the pair of glass doors. She looked down at the heap of bodies below. Smiling a bit.

"I'll soon become on of them," She cackled like a maniac. "Bye, mama. Bye, papa." She said, before closing her eyes and falling backwards. Waiting for her life to end. Feeling the gush of wind hit her body. Her hair flowing harshly. She never thought she'd do this; end her life just because of something bad happening in her life. She's always gone through things--even with the bad things and bad people in her life--she's always stood strong. But now? She couldn't handle it anymore.

Her eyes fluttered open. Feeling something warm embrace her. She sat up, still in her weak state. She  looked around her. Seeing a blonde man sitting on a stool look somewhere else, at the door. Acting all protective, as if waiting for someone or something to come barging through.

"You're awake." The blonde man mumbled. He turned around, making Lucy gasp. She backed up at the headboard.

"Stay away." She warned.

"Lucy. Don't act like that." He said. Moving towards her and sitting on the edge of the bed.

"I'm warning you. Stay away, and tell me where I am." She hissed, though she looked like she didn't mean it as a hiss because of how weak her voice was.

Laxus let out a sigh. "You're in a place where I go sometimes to cool off."

"Why am I here? I'm supposed to be dead!" She tried to raise her voice.

"You were supposed to be dead. But, I saved you from that fate. I brought you here to keep you safe."

"I'm not safe if I'm near any one of you monsters!" She growled.

"Lucy, you're hungry. Eat," He said, grabbing a tray of food from the nightstand, and putting it in front of Lucy, on the bed. A bowl of soup and bread. Simple, yet Lucy was having a hard time trying to decline the food. "Your pride doesn't matter right now," He said. Lucy gave him a hesitant look, before staring down at the food again. Grabbing the bread slowly. She took a bite of it. She missed the food that she would receive in the morning--in the afternoon--then at night. Laxus chuckled a bit.

"I still don't trust you." Lucy glared at him. She had gotten a bit more color.

"Aw. Lucy. I'm hurt. I thought you trusted me,"

"Shut up." She said flatly.

"Why haven't you been eating? You look so tired and feeble,"He said, moving his hand upwards to her cheek, slowly caressing her soft skin. Lucy flinched a bit. Her heart began to palpitate. It's been the same feeling whenever she thinks of the soft side of the dragons. "You've gotten warmer," He smirked a bit. Making Lucy move away from him, though, he had secretly wrapped his arm around her waist. Embracing her closely to her chest.

"Why. . . ? I don't feel safe with you guys anymore." She sobbed.

"Is it because of Dragon Mating Season," Laxus inquired. Lucy gave a slight nod.

"You guys are different. The complete opposite of the men I saw before. Now you are murderers." She pursed her lips.

"Lucy," He said, nuzzling in the crook of her neck. "Just stay with me, and you'll be safe." He said, before Lucy felt a slight pain on her neck. A pair of sharp fangs penetrated her skin. Making blood leak out a bit.

"L-Laxus. . ," She tried to breath. But, Laxus didn't stop. He sucked a bit of blood, holding her closer by the second. She gripped onto the hem of her dress. "S-Sto. . p. . it. . ," She moaned a bit. Laxus' sucking stopped. He backed up, his teeth being taken out of Lucy's neck. He licked the blood off. Making Lucy shudder at the touch.

"Disgusting," She bit her bottom lip. "Disgusting liars." She said, venom in her voice. She pushed Laxus away, she ran out. Not caring where she'll go.  Her hand cupping the crook of her neck, where Laxus had bit her.

"Sorry, Lucy. But, that's the only way for you to stay mine," Laxus said, watching Lucy's shadow disappear. "It should start to show by tonight, or so." He said. Grabbing the jacket that covered up Lucy. He walked outside, walking to the palace.
