It has been a week since Lucy was sacrificed to the dragons. Yet, she hasn't came out since Virgo gave her those "manner lessons", when actually, the two girls became friends. Virgo wasn't a human, she was a type of creature that looks like a human, she belongs to the "Celestial" race. Now, Virgo has left the palace and the blonde because of personal matters. That was two or three days ago.
The six dragons sat at the dining table. Waiting for their food which was cooked by Yajima, they're head chef. Three on one side, while the other three sat across from them. However, a plate was served for a person who was sitting at the head. Withal, the said person was not there. Instead, that person was locked up in her room, ignoring her hunger. Her pride getting the best of her. Nonetheless, the six dragons didn't care. Though, they needed the girl alive. After all, she is the very first and very last human they'll ever find. And they found her. . . somewhat. . . intriguing.
"Where is that woman?" Cobra looked around.
"She's probably locked up in the room. Again." Laxus growled.
"Taurus," Rogue called. A tall, buff man who was in a black butler outfit came walking in.
"Moo! Yes, lord Cheney?" The buff cow-like-man came to the black dragon's side. The said cow creature was also part of the celestial race. Not that it matters.
"Did you call for Lucy?" Rogue asked.
"Moo. . . yes, sir Cheney. Yet, she did not budge or say a word," Taurus explained.
"Hmm. . ," The black dragon put his claw-like-hand on his chin, making a thinking position.
"Just go get her again. I can tell, she's dying of hunger right now," Cobra dismissed the buff creature.
"Miss Lucy," Taurus called on the other side of the door, with a gentle knock.
Lucy stood still. Ignoring the cow-like creature's calls. She was standing on the balcony. Petting four strange cats with a pair of white wings behind them. One was blue, another velvet, green, and the last was in the shade of black. The strange creatures adored her very much. They licked her, and meowed under her touch. The blonde smiled. (A/N: Happy, Pantherlily, Lector, and Frosch)
"Moo. . Miss Lucy! Please come out and join the lords for breakfast," Taurus declared. Lucy sighed. She removed her hands from the cats and headed to the white door. She opened it slowly, only revealing the side of her face.
"Miss Lucy, pl--" Taurus was cut of by Lucy.
"Sorry, sir. . . ?"
"Taurus. Just call me Taurus."
"Well, sorry Taurus, but I won't be attending breakfast today,"
"But, Miss Lucy. You have declined having breakfast, lunch, and dinner for the past week. So, please," Taurus tried to reason out, but to his dismay; she shook her head. "But, Miss Lucy. The lords are waiting for you," Taurus tried again. Lucy shook her head again. Then, closed the door.
"Moo. . . forgive me, lord Cheney. But, Miss Lucy won't come out at all," Taurus said with his head hung low.
"I see. You may leave," Rogue sent him off. "Capricorn." The raven-haired called.
"Yes, lord Cheney?" A tall pale man in a tux did his mannerisms.
"I want you to get food, and serve it to Lucy. If she doesn't answer. Just leave it in front of her door." Rogue instructed. Capricorn nodded.
"Miss Lucy," Capricorn called. "My name is Capricorn. One of the butlers of the great dragon lords. I have come to serve you food," Capricorn knocked gently. No answer.
"Very well then, Miss Lucy. I shall leave the tray here when you want to eat," He put the tray before the door. "I suggest you eat it before it gets cold." Capricorn left. His footsteps fading.
The white door quickly opened, revealing a pale blonde. The girl picked up the tray and locked the door behind her. She set the food down on the ground and started eating. Her hunger was relieved. Even though it wasn't very much, she had regained some of her strength. Her skin brightening up.
Thank you. She smiled.
"So?" Rogue asked Capricorn without looking at the butler.
"She did not answer; just as you predicted. I left the tray in front of her door." Capricorn explained.
"Very well then. I can hear her gobbling on her food. Thank you, Capricorn," Rogue said. Capricorn bowed and left to do his duties.
"You're having a liking to her, aren't you, Rogue?" Gajeel teased.
"No, I am not. You do know that she could very much die, right? We need her alive," Rogue informed.
"Alright," Gajeel sighed.
"By the way, Cobra," Laxus wiped the corners of his mouth with a napkin. "I smelled you on Lucy about two days after she came here,"
"Oh? And where's your proof? You went to see her, didn't you?" Cobra shot at Laxus with a mischievous "smile". Laxus clenched his teeth.
"I did. I smelled poison on her," The other dragons gasped. "I know you're stupid, but I do know one thing: You know we need that girl alive." Laxus said clearly with authority in his voice.
"Cobra!" Sting exclaimed. "Why did you do that?! You clearly know that the girl is needed,"
"When and how did you insert the poison in her?" Rogue asked. A bit angered.
Cobra rolled his eyes, then shrugged. "I inserted it in her before she escaped. Also, I implanted the poison by pricking her leg with my claws. I could've killed her easily. But. . . it was my first time seeing a human girl. I needed to see how much her pain tolerance was," He said. "And man, was it very weak," He chuckled.
"Bastard," Muttered Gajeel.
"Oi, metal-face! What the heck did you say?!" Cobra stood up from his chair.
"I called you a bastard, bastard." Gajeel stood up as well.
"Both of you!" Sting shouted. "Don't you dare fight."
Wow. . . did someone get mature. Natsu stifled his laughs.
"What're ya laughin' at, flame brain?!" Sting clenched his fists.
"Nothing." Natsu said cheekily. Sting growled and took a deep breath. There was a moment of silence.
"It's gloomy, huh?" Natsu changed the subject.
"It has always been, Natsu." Rogue said.
"Yeah. . ."Natsu replied with sadness. It was always been gloomy and rainy ever since their fathers died. Before their fathers' death, it used to be sunny and bright. Not anymore, though. If they saw a glimpse of the sun, then it would've been a miracle.
