A young blonde sat in the corner, hugging her knees. Trying to keep herself warm. It wasn't a sunny morning, like every morning she used to wake up to. It was raining, gray clouds covering the sky. The girl was hungry. She hasn't eaten since the maroon-haired man kissed her. Which was two days or a day ago. She didn't want to see their hideous faces, and hear their annoying, sinister voices. She'd rather listen to the rain.

"It's very gloomy, isn't it?" She looked outside her balcony doors. They were opened. She kept them locked, closed. So how could it have opened. However, the sight before her frightened her more; yellow lighting shot the land. A dark, wet, big figure was sitting on the railing. His arm was resting on his arched leg, the other leg hanging.

"Who's there?" She got up. She grabbed the tiny knife that Cobra had left there on the ground.

"You don't remember me? It's only been a day or two. You have bad memory and manners," He turned his eyes to her brown orbs. "Lucy,"

"Laxus," She said. "How did you open the balcony doors?" She questioned. She tried to stay strong.

"Darling, I'm a dragon. I have my ways," He got up from his position and walked over to the girl. She stepped back. "Are you afraid of me, darling?"

"Don't call me that! I don't want you to give me disgusting names! Especially when it comes from your dirty mouth!" She shouted.

"You truly are feisty. No wonder you're still single. Though, I wonder how you actually kissed someone before," Lucy's eyes widened. Remembering the incident with the sly, maroon dragon.

"Oh, you're red," The yellow-haired man said nonchalantly. Lucy shook her head and yelled "No!"

"Oi! What happened?" He asked the girl who was on the floor, holding her forearm.

"That's non of your business! Leave me be," She said weakly.

In a swift second. Laxus was in front of Lucy, on his knee. Lucy was about to move away, but Laxus stopped her by holding the back of her head. He pulled her to his chest. He smelled her scent.

Cobra. . . He grimaced.

"L-Let go!" She squirmed.

"You have poison in your system," He stated.

"E-Excuse me?! How?!"

"The purple lizard must've inserted poison inside of you when you were knocked out. When none of us were looking,"

"E-Eh?! Dammit. . . " She clutched her forearm.

"Don't stress yourself. The poison is gonna spread faster. It has already spread to your arm. You're lucky it hasn't reached your head nor your heart," He clicked his tongue. "He must have injected it from your legs," Lucy started to wheeze. Her chest was going up and down, she had her hand on her chest. Laxus put his hand on her forehead.

What was his reason for doing this? I know he's stupid, but. . . we need the girl alive. . even if we say we can kill her. Laxus thought.

"I. . can't. . b-breathe. . ." She wheezed.
