Rebecca awoke to the smell of coffee,bacon,and eggs.
"He must have made breakfast" Rebecca thought.
Rebecca wandered into the kitchen where Felix was standing over the stove.
She wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed his cheek.
"You are way to sweet." Said Rebecca hugging him from behind
"Well I'm glad you think so but I only did it because I was hungry" Felix said jokingly turning around to hold her.
"Mmhm" Rebecca said with a sarcastic tone,then kissed him and trotted off into her dining room to set the table.
After the table was set they sat down to eat. It was going splendidly when their breakfast was interrupted by a knock at the door.
"It must be Bob with the mail" Rebecca said with a mouthful of eggs.
She ran off to open the door and greeted Bob happily.
"Hey Bob is it time for bills already?"
"Actually I have a package for you" Bob replied cheerfully but business like
"I didn't order anything, and who would send me a package this time of year?" Thought Rebecca,her mind went immediately to Felix.
"Really? I didn't order anything" said Rebecca
"Hmm well its definitely your address must be a friend" said Bob checking the register
"Um.. Ok well then here let me sign that" Rebecca said in a happy tone
Bob handed her the register and Rebecca signed it.
"Would you like some coffee Bob?" Rebecca asked cheerfully
"Oh sorry Rebecca I got to get on my route maybe some other time" Bob replied sadly
"Mmk see you Bob"
"Always nice seeing you Rebecca" Bob said walking to his mail truck. Bob closed the door and drove away. Rebecca walked inside with the package and looked at Felix
"So breakfast and a present its not my birthday yet" Rebecca said jokingly.
"I didn't send you anything babe but I'll happily take credit for it" Felix said happily
"Cmon Felix a package sent to me with no name. It has to be you."
Felix suddenly looked very concerned. "Becks I didn't send you anything..."
"Felix who else would send me anything I don't have many friends and all of them are here they wouldn't need to send me an anonymous package unless they want it to be a surprise."
" Maybe it was Carol or Kate I don't know but it wasn't me" Felix said seriously
"Ok if you say so" Rebecca said dubiously opening the package
There was a shining blood red ruby inside.
"Woah..."
"What is it Rebecca?" Felix came over and look at the ruby
"Ok now I know it must be you because no one else would send something like this to me" Rebecca looked at Felix whose brow was furrowed.
"Babe that isn't from me..."
"Maybe they sent it to the wrong address,like misspelled the street or got the numbers mixed up" Rebecca said shrugging, "Don't worry ,I'll send it back tomorrow"
"Ok.." Felix said normally
After breakfast Rebecca kissed Felix and sent him on his way.
"Just a fluke..." Thought Rebecca
