After two months of Daku resting and Rebecca's classes and Felix learning sword fighting from Major Gold, things seemed to be normal again.
"It's strange,after everything that happened how things could just snap back into place." Rebecca thought.
"Better it snap back into place then to stay scarred." The voice in her head replied, "and Daku hasn't recovered fully, the arrow still pains her."
"I wish I could do something for her"
" Some hurts are to deep, this wound is to deep for you to heal. Don't worry her time is coming." The voice almost sounded like it was smiling.
"Becks!" Felix called.
"Hey Felix" Rebecca hugged him.
"I was wondering do you and Daku want to meet in the courtyard at about 4:00?"
"I'd love to. I'll invite Daku." Rebecca smiled.
"Great see you later" Felix kissed her and walked away.
Rebecca went to find Daku, and found her leaving the training ring.
"Hey Daku! Felix invited us to hang with him at 4:00 want to come?" Rebecca called
"Sure, I'll catch up. Where we meeting?" Daku asked
"Courtyard. It'll be nice to hang out like we use to, no stuffy meetings or emergencies" Rebecca smiled.
"Yeah it will be." Daku rubbed her shoulder, "see you then!" She smiled
"See you there." Rebecca smiled.
Daku headed toward the barracks and Rebecca toward the stables.
"Back to normal." Rebecca thought.
