Rebecca was almost fell back asleep when she sat up quickly in bed.
"Who am I going to bring? I can't go and uproot someone's life like that it's not fair to them. Maybe I shouldn't bring anyone at all. What am I going to tell Felix?" These thoughts and more rushed through her head as she realized she hadn't even thought about what just happened. It was all hitting her now,she'd have to quit her job,she'd have to pack her things,she'd need to leave Carol and Kate,and most importantly (to her anyways) she'd need to leave Felix.
She'd usually call him about things like this but what was she gonna say "I have to leave a warrior woman is taking to a magical dimension where I was born and I might need to break up with you because I don't want to ruin your life?". No way she'd sound nuts,and Felix would think she was making up excuses to break up with him without hurting his feelings,but she couldn't just leave without telling him why.
"You could always bring him with you" a voice said in her head
"And ruin his life? Yeah no thanks I love him to much to do that to him" Rebecca said firmly
"I'm just saying this might not be one of those if you love him let him go things..."
"But what if it is, we have,or had a good life here why would I ruin it?"
"What if you aren't ruining it? Think about it if Felix was in the same position wouldn't you want the choice to follow him?"
"Yes...but.."
"Wouldn't you have followed him?"
"To the end of the world"
"Then give him a choice."
