They all met in the courtyard with smiling faces.
"Glad to see you all made it" Felix smiled
"Well why would I miss hanging with you dorks." Daku grinned playfully
"I don't know why are you a giant liko monkey?" Felix replied goofily
They laughed and spoke and laughed for hours.
"Hey want to see a new I trick invented?" Rebecca asked.
"Sure!" Felix smiled
"Ok who wants to volunteer?" Rebecca asked.
"I'll do it why not?" Daku replied.
"Ok be warned it might be a little weird. If you want me to stop tap me. Don't just break off." Rebecca warned.
"What are you going to do?" Daku asked suspiciously
"I am going to read your mind, well not your mind but more like past." Rebecca answered
"Haha very funny" Daku laughed
"No I am for real Felix will be able to see it too. Don't worry I'll make sure no one else will see." Rebecca smiled.
"Ok let's see if you can." Daku smiled,sure that she couldn't do it,
Rebecca touched Daku's head.
Her eyes turned a deep blue and glowed.
yellow bright lights sparkled around them.
Felix was awed by the lights.
"They are like little fireflies" Felix exclaimed.
The lights started to move, and Daku's memories played out on them like a screen.
There were memories of her mother and family smiling. They were happy,then I showed a village burning and people screaming and the bodies of many people. Then Daku suddenly broke off with Rebecca and the lights scattered.
"Why did you do that?! I told you to tap me I could have taken a chunk of your memory away or worse." Rebecca exclaimed.
"I got to go." Daku said promptly.
"Daku wait what's wrong?" Felix asked
"I got to go." Daku said hotly and left.
"I think I might have hit a bad memory." Rebecca said
"Gee ya think Becks?" Felix said sarcastically
"I'll make sure she's ok." Rebecca got up and went to find Daku, but Daku couldn't be found.
" Leave her,she needs to breathe. This is as its suppose to be" the voice in her said.
"What?" Rebecca asked.
"Leave it be. Eventually you'll understand." The voice replied.
