Timmy's P.O.V
It's Friday night and I had to work a late shift at the bar today. Someone called in sick so I had to fill in. I wipe the counter down when I notice some girls walk in. It's a bit dark, but I recognize their voices as they sit down on the far side of the bar. "Hey bartender!" I hear them say as I smile. I walk over and they all start giggling. "What are you guys doing here?" I ask.
"Getting some drinks." Alyss says innocently.
"You don't even drink." I narrow my eyes at her.
"Yes, I do." She says defensively. "But not today. I'm designated driver."
"I missed you and I really wanted to see you babe." Melanie says changing the subject.
"Aww you're too cute." I lean in and kiss her. "Can I get you anything? " I ask noticing my boss in the corner.
Melanie glances over at the corner and nods in understanding.
"Well I would like a beer." Beth smiles. "Wait are you going to charge me?"
I chuckle. "I'll just add it to your tab."
"Haha okay. Then make that 3 beers." Beth laughs.
"Okay. Is that just for you?" I ask laughing.
"Yea. Pretty much." She nods. "And hurry up, you have people waiting." I look over my shoulder and notice people gathering around.
"I want the usual just no alcohol." Alyss says smiling at me.
"Me too. But with plenty of alcohol." Melanie winks at me.
I smile at her and get working on their drinks.
"Hey! Can I get 2 shots over here?" I hear a girl yell from the other side of the bar.
I signal to her that I'll be there as I finish the girls' orders. "Here you go." I say as I place the drinks in front of them. "Thanks babe." They all say teasing Melanie. They all laugh as I walk to the other side.
I pour two shots and put them on the counter next to the girl. "Thanks." She says with an annoyed voice.
"No problem." I smile.
"You have a nice smile." She says flirtatiously.
"Umm. I have a girlfriend." I say nervously.
"She's a lucky girl." She says drinking the 2 shots.
"I'm the lucky one." I say quietly as I walk away.
A few minutes later, a guy comes into the bar and asks for a beer. I pour him a beer and set it next to him. I walk to the back of the bar to clean some shot glasses. I notice the guy walk to where the girls are. From where I'm standing I can hear and see them fairly well.
"Hey, Can I buy you guys a drink?" He says looking mostly at Melanie.
"No. We're good." Melanie says scooting away.
"How about a dance?"
"I have a boyfriend." She says glancing over at me.
I look down quickly concentrating on the glasses.
"It's not like he's here..."
"Actually he is. He's right over there." I see her point over at me from the corner of my eye.
I hear Beth and Alyss snicker.
"Oh. You're the bartenders girlfriend?"
"Yep. Now bye."
They all start laughing as he walks away.
"Aww that was mean." Alyss says still laughing.
"What you wanted to dance with him?" Beth says smiling.
"No. I have a boyfriend, but you're single you could've danced with him." Alyss giggles.
"Shut up." She says punching Alyss on the arm.
"Ow!" Alyss complains.
"Anyway. I need another drink. Timmay!" Beth yells at me.
I look up. "Can I get another beer over here?!"
I nod and pour another beer. I always love when they're here. My shifts are always more fun. I walk over with a huge smile.
"You heard that didn't you." Melanie nods knowingly.
"Yea." I smile as I lean in to kiss her.
