Beth's P.O.V.
"Today's the day!" I say excitedly as I walk into the living room where Alyss is reading on the couch and Melanie is at the kitchen table doing some homework.
"For what?" Melanie asks confused.
"They day I get my tattoo." I say excitedly.
"Your getting a tattoo today?" Alyss asks shocked. "When did this happen?"
"This morning. I've been texting Jimmy all morning and we came up with the idea." I explain.
"So you are going to get a random tattoo just because Jimmy told you to?" Melanie asks.
"No. I've had this idea for a long time. Jimmy just helped push me to do it today. I mean why wait."
"Well have fun." Alyss says going back to her book.
"You want me to go with you?" Melanie asks getting up.
"If you want to. Jimmy is meeting me there." I shrug grabbing the car keys. Melanie grabs her shoes and her phone and follows me outside.
"So where are you going exactly?" Melanie asks as we leave.
"I'm not sure. Jimmy sent me the address." I say handing her my phone.
She looks at the map as I turn up the music. We get to the place and notice Jimmy outside talking to someone. We walk over and he introduces us.
"Hey. So this is Jon. Jon this is Beth and Melanie." Jimmy says as I shake the guys' hand.
"Hi. So I'm a bit nervous any words of advice?" I ask.
"Well try not to move." He says smiling.
"Haha got it." I laugh nervously.
"Let's go in then." Jimmy says opening the door for us.
I follow Jon to a chair and he gestures me to sit down. I sit down and Jimmy and Melanie sit down across from me.
"Okay so do you know what you want?" Jon asks me, sitting down with a notebook.
I get my phone out and show him the picture. "I want this on my wrist."
"Great. This will be easy." He says handing back my phone. He makes a quick sketch and shows me.
"That's perfect." I say as he nods and gets things ready.
"You ready?" He asks as he brings the needle close to my skin.
I look at him worriedly. "Hold on." I say as I take a deep breath closing my eyes. I open my eyes and look at him nodding. "Okay go ahead."
He places the needle to my wrist.....
"It looks great!" I say as soon as Jon is finished. I look at my wrist admiring the words tattooed there. Faith. I look over at Jimmy and Melanie excitedly and show them. They both smile at me and give me the thumbs up.
"It looks great, Beth." Jimmy says walking over.
Melanie walks over with her phone. "I'm going to take a picture."
"Okay. That's enough pictures." I tell Melanie as I stand up. "Thank you, Jon. I love it. I'll come to you for the next one." I say turning to Jon and shaking his hand. I get out my wallet and try to pay him.
"No. It's okay. It's your first tattoo it's on me." He says.
"Really? But I've been saving for this." I say trying to hand him the money.
"Just come back when you want another one and you can pay for that one." He smiles.
"Thank you!" I say hugging him. I never like hugging anyone unless I knew them very well but I was just so happy. "I promise I'll come back and leave you a great tip for my next one." I say as we all walk outside.
