Roger's P.O.V.
(On the phone with Stella)
"Mini golf?" Stella asks.
"Yea. I thought it'd be fun." I say.
"Ruby wants to know if she can go?" Stella says sounding a bit annoyed.
"Umm. Sure, but wouldn't she feel awkward."
"Can I bring Andy?" I hear Ruby's voice.
"Okay. So like a double date?" I say.
"Yea sure." Stella says.
"Okay. I'll pick you guys up in a bit. I need to get ready." I say hanging up.
I hurry and get dressed and grab my keys running to my car. I really wanted to see Stella already. It might sound stupid, but I really loved spending time with her and being away from her for too long made me nostalgic. I get to her house and walk casually to her front door not wanting to look too desperate. I knock and Ruby answers the door.
"Hey, Roger!" She says hugging me.
"Hey Ruby!" I smile hugging her back.
Andy walks over. "Hey!"
"Hey! You two ready?" I ask.
"Yea! I'm so excited. I've never been mini golfing." Ruby says excitedly.
"Really? It's really fun. I think you'll love it." I say as Stella comes out of her room.
"Hey!" She smiles walking over to me and hugging me.
I feel myself smile goofily as I give her a quick kiss on the lips. "Let's go then." I say noticing Andy and Ruby staring.
We get to the golf park and we all get out. Andy puts his arm around Ruby's waist and I lace my fingers through Stella's. I lead the way as we go inside. "I thought it was outside?" Stella says confused.
"This one is different. It's glow in the dark so a lot of black lights." I explain.
"This is so cool." Ruby says excitedly.
We get our golf balls and putters at the front. We walk over to the first hole. "We'll go first." Andy says. He places the golf ball on the ground and hits the ball, making it in the hole. He smirks as I roll my eyes. "Lucky shot." I say as I take my turn. I hit the ball and it passes the hole.
"Okay my turn." Ruby says taking her turn. She sets the ball down and positions herself to hit it.
"Wait, babe." Andy says as he walks up behind her. "You have to hit it this way." He says putting his arms around her, showing her and taking a few practice swings. I notice Stella rolling her eyes at them. Andy steps back as Ruby hits the ball also making it in. "Ahh! I did it!" She says excitedly.
"Yes. You did!" Andy says smiling at her let's go to the next one he says excitedly as they run hand in hand to the next hole.
"Okay?" Me and Stella say together. We look at each other and start laughing.
"Your turn, babe." I say letting her go. She places the ball on the ground and takes a few practice swings before actually hitting the ball. She hits the ball and makes it in the hole.
"Really? That was easy." Stella says smirking.
"Don't rub it in." I pout a bit.
"Aww. Roger." She says hugging me around the waist. She leans up and gives me a quick kiss before grabbing my arm and pulling me to where my ball is. I hit it lightly and make it in.
"Okay. Let's try to catch up with the wierdos." She says as we hear more excited cheering from Ruby and Andy. They were both wierd, but it was kind of cute. We can't see them very well, because the lights are off. We only see too dark shadows jumping around the glowing golf course.
We get to the next hole and I go up first. "You need some help, babe?" Stella says walking up behind me. I smirk.
"Yea. Maybe you should put your arms around me." I say as she places her arms around me. I smile as she helps me hit the ball. We make it in and we go crazy jumping around. Maybe we were all just a bunch of crazy wierdos. I think to myself, smiling.
