Alyss's P.O.V
Seattle: Hey .. you want to hang out today?
Me: Sorry I can't we are taking my nephews to the park.
Seattle: The one by the apartments?
Me: Yea.
Seattle: I'll meet you there.
Me: Okay??
"Who are you texting?" Josiah asks me trying to look at my phone.
"My friend." I tell him as I put my phone down and help Beth with the Nehemiah, so she can put her shoes on.
"What did he want." Beth asks a bit annoyed.
"He wants to hang out. He'll meet us at the park."
"Why?"
"I don't know."
"Okay? Let's go then." Beth sighs as she grabs the keys. We put helmets on the boys and get their bikes out. I grab my bag and my book and close the door.
"Your bringing your book again?"
"Yup." I say as we start walking toward the park.
"Josiah! Stay on the sidewalk!" Beth yells to Josiah.
He reluctantly pedals back to the sidewalk. We get to the park and and I go sit under a tree. Beth sits next to me as we watch the boys drive around on their bikes.
"I'm going to take a nap." Beth says laying down and getting comfortable.
"We need to be watching the boys." I say rolling my eyes at her.
"You can watch them." She says closing her eyes. I shake my head and glance over at the boys, playing at the slides. It was empty, so they were okay. I open my book and start reading.
"Your reading that again?!" I hear a voice say distracting me from my book.
I look up and see Seattle standing in front of me. "Well it's my favorite book." I say putting it down and patting the place next to me, so he can sit. He sits down and nods.
"That's true. Especially, because of the pictures."
"Well, yea. Connor Franta has great photography." I say nodding in approval.
He smiles. "True. Where's Melanie?"
"She went with Timmy somewhere. It was a surprise. He didn't tell anyone."
He nods thoughtfully and looks over at Beth. "Aren't you supposed to be watching your nephews?"
"We are." I say looking over at the playground. Josiah was pushing Nehemiah on a swing.
"Just saying." He says putting his hands up innocently.
Josiah looks over at us and gives Seattle a huge smile and wave. He whispers something in Nehemiah's ear and they start running toward us.
"Seattle!" They both say excitedly as they hug him.
"Can you come play with us?" Nehemiah asks looking at both of us and pulling Seattle's arm. I look over at Beth and shrug.
"Okay." We say getting up and start running after them to the playground.
