Roger's P.O.V.

I drive up to Stella's school and park next to a shady tree. It was hot out today and my windows are rolled down and my music is on blast. I notice a couple parents glaring at me, but I ignore it as I wait for Stella to get out of school. Ruby was sick today, so she stayed home. I hear a bell announcing the end of class. I see all the kids start getting out of classrooms. I get my phone out and send a text to Stella that I'm outside. A few minutes later I see her walking with her friends toward a the front of the school. She glances at me and waves goodbye to her friends. She walks to the car and opens the door, gets in, and slams the door shut angrily. She mutters something under her breath.

"What's wrong?" I ask confused.

"Nothing. Can we go?" She says dryly as she puts her seat belt on. I nod and start driving. I can hear her swearing under her breath as we drive off to her house. When we get close enough to see her house I stop the car and park next to the curb.

"What's wrong?" I press.

"Nothing. Just leave it." She says angrily.

I turn my whole body toward her and grab her hand stroking it lightly. "Please tell me."

She sighs and looks at me. "My friends saw you with some other girl. Are you cheating on me?"

"Why would you think that?" I say a bit confused by the accusation.

"Just tell me if your cheating on me or not." She sighs angrily.

"I'm not cheating on you." I say a bit hurt that she would think such things about me.

"I gotta go." She says getting out of the car and walking away. I get out and catch up to her grabbing her arm to stop her. She looks up at me, hurt in her eyes. "Why are you lying to me?"

"I'm not lying."

"Then what is this?" She says shoving her phone in my face. I grab the phone and look at the picture. It was a picture of some guy with some girl walking hand in hand. You didn't see the faces clearly, but the hair was exactly like mine and he had the same hat I wear.

"That's not me." I explain.

She sighs angrily. "Your such a liar. We can do this anymore." She starts walking away again.

I look at her as she walks away a bit stunned to do anything. "Stella! Don't do this. I swear that's not me. I would never cheat on you."
She pauses a moment and looks back at me. "It's over Roger." She says going inside.

"Come on, Roger, it's been a week." Jimmy says trying to push me off my bed.

"You need to get out of this room, man." Timmy says from the doorway.

I groan, turning around and covering my face with a pillow. I hear Jimmy and Timmy come closer and grab my arms picking me up off my bed.

"What are you doing?" I say angrily as they carry me away. They take me out of the house and into the car.

"Where are we going?" I say confused.

"We are going for a ride." Timmy says backing out of the driveway. A few minutes later, we are outside of Jimmy and Timmy's house. I reluctantly get out of the van and follow them inside.

"What are we doing here?" I say as I sit down on the couch.

"Waiting." Jimmy says as they both sit down and Timmy turns on the tv.

A few minutes later there's a knock on the door. Jimmy gets up and opens the door. It's Alyss. "Is he here?" She asks.

"Yea. Right over there." Jimmy says pointing over at me.

I look at them confused until I see Stella being dragged by Beth and Melanie into the living room. They sit her down on the couch next to me. I notice her eyes are red, probably from crying and she has bags under her eyes.
We both probably looked really bad. She sits on the other corner of the couch trying to avoid eye contact.

"Okay, so we're leaving you two to work this out." Beth says as they all walk outside.

I look at her quietly and think of something to say. After a long time of silence, I look at her and awkwardly say, "So..how've you been?"

She glares over at me in disbelief. "Really?"

"Sorry I just wanted to start a conversation."

"You want a conversation? Okay. Why did you cheat on me?" She asks her eyes welling up with tears.

I sigh angrily. "I didn't cheat on you! I would never cheat on you.

"What about the picture?"

"That's not me. I swear."

"Are you sure? It sure looks a lot like you."

"You can't even see the face. It's just the hair. Someone is trying to mess with us."

"Why would my friend do that to me?" She asks angrily.

"I don't know maybe their jealous?"

She looks at the floor thoughtfully. I scoot closer to her placing my hand lightly on hers.

"Stella. I'm not strong enough to stay away from you any longer. I love you too much."

She looks over at me and sighs. "I love you too, Roger."

I smile, getting closer to kiss her. She stops me before I can. "I can't kiss you, though."

"Why?" I whine.

She smiles. "Now I'm messing with you." She laughs as I put my hand through her hair bringing her closer. Our lips meet and the world around us disappears. All I know is that it's just me and her in that moment. She places her hands on my chest pushing me gently to lay on the couch. That's when we hear someone clear their throat. We both look up and notice Jimmy,Timmy, Melanie, Beth, and Alyss all looking at us awkwardly.

"Really? On the couch? I take naps there." Jimmy says as we all laugh.
