"WAIT!! Please, wait!! I'm so sorry Rodger, I promise it won't happen for the rest of this week (it was Friday)."

I was so thankful for the bus. If anyone would have taken me to school besides them, I would have been late to my second class. This class in particular. The most important class of my friends life.

I walked in with a newfound confidence. Jack greeted me at my locker with a, "Hey girllll! Ready for our first dress rehearsal after school?" I met Jack when I was in 6th grade. I had been a dancer my whole life, but I had just moved and needed to find a new studio. I walked in, quiet as a mouse, but as excited as a puppy. I saw him there, but was too afraid to gather the confidence to say hi.

About 7 months later, he transferred to my school because of majorly intense bullying he got at his old school. (Life lesson readers, don't treat people like Jack got treated, it will catch up to you I promise.) When he told me this, all I could think of was Screw that school. Jack is the best guy ever. He deserves to be treated like the Beyonce Queen he is.

It had been about a year since our last recital for Castle Dance Studio. Tonight was our first dress rehearsal at the big theatre. "Hey Jacky. If I don't have homework, than it'll be the best night ever!" "Oh, I know right!", he exclaimed as happy as, well.. Jack!

We walked to our first class, Latin. Ugh.

Mr. Fronz  practically put the class to sleep within 5 minutes. I began to doze off. I tried to shake of the morning sleepiness overpowering my body, but it was no use. He started to say something in his mechanical robotic-sounding, one-tone, depressing voice, "Now class lets learn how to conjugate a verb in the pluperfect tens...e..."

~ dreaming (again. wOw.) ~

All around me were the most beautiful colored fish, and coral reefs.

My long dark brown hair floated and gleamed in the light being reflected through the water. My freckles were as dark as ever, their personalized color popping off my skin with every move I took. I saw my eyes through those of an angel fish. The blue coloring so icy, it looked as if you had given a child the ability to ruggedly color in my eyes. A dolphin was trying to communicate with me through its soft clicks.

I  couldn't tell where I was. All I knew was that I was drowning. I gasped for air but instead Got a lungful of salty water. Something was pushing me then I heard words bouncing of the ocean floor. "Cat? Wake up. Hello? Cat!"

~ Reality ~

I awoke with an urge for water. Jack was staring at me. "What just happened? I thought you were dying!" Oh no. "Oh my god. What the hell did I do while I was sleeping?" This was an answer I almost didn't want to hear. "You were gasping. You started to shake and you stopped breathing."

The whole class was starring at me, with fearful eyes. Mr. Fronz who had failed to notice I almost died, was still on his mission to put the school to sleep.

All I could do was laugh. Jack did not chuckle. His face was so puzzled, it looked like he had tried to figure out why were still stuck in this damn class. "Jack, your so sweet. I was dreaming about being underwater!" He was officially pissed, but still laughing. "Well don't do it again."

The bell swooped down from heaven and saved us from this living nightmare. I walked to English, not knowing this was about to change Anna's middle school life forever.
