She smiled and showed her tiny little teeth. A thousand feeling flew in my mind.
She was so beautiful. She had her hair tucked into a little birdie on the very top of her miniature head. She had my eyes icy blue eyes and my spotty freckes. I saw the nose of my father sitting smack dab in the center of her face. My mothers exact hair bounced on the top of her head as she ran to me.
I looked at her in awe and balled, while grasping tightly on to a smile. This was about to change my life so much, and I loved it.
"Look at you! Hi, hello my angel! Oh my god, you are so gorgeous." My eyes glistened with tears, and I loved what was in front of me more than anything ever before.
I squeezed her in my arms, and never wanted to let her go.
She made little happy noises, and I knew that none of this was going to be easy, but it would be worth it to have something more precious than a jewel, with me forever.
"Doctor, how much longer must she stay here to recover, before we can all go home?" Mother asked.
"Well, Mrs. Evergreen, i'd say that this must have been the most difficult thing ever for you to handle. I could not imagine not knowing if my child was going to wake up. We will do a few tests and get her home to you as soon as possible. "
"Oh thank you so much. It really was heartbreaking. We just want our baby safe at home with her paren- , I mean, family." Father looked at Delta with proud eyes, and then shot me two hopeful ones.
My parents left the room after a tight squeeze and let the doctors and nurses begin on their research, and tests for me.
As laid down to rest for a while, I noticed something very peculiar on my nightstand.
