I SHOT UP LIKE A ROCKET.
I gasped at the feeling of being awake again. Little did I know that this feeling had been gone for a very long time.
"Hello?! Where am I?" I felt like no time had gone by, but obviously, it had been more than my simple, flushed mind knew.
Soon enough the doctor shot in through the door. He flew like a rusty old bullet leaving the pistol held by shake hands. "Oh my god. Nurse Brown, Call the Evergreens, NOW."
"Where am I? When is it?? Where are my parents?" I was so lost in my head, I didn't even notice that my hands were a whole shade lighter. It must have so long since I was last in the sun. "What day is it?" I was scared for the answer to come.
"Well, um, Ms. Cat. You see, its um, been quite a while."
I threw my hands up in the air. "I can tell!! What day is it?!" Now I didn't know what to expect.
"You see, um, its March 17th"
"That's impossible. That was yesterday. I remember! Today was the dance! It specifically said March 18, 2016"
"Actually, its March 17th...
2020"
