I got to Spice Diner and as I walk in, I was greeted by the aroma of fries and sweet milkshakes. I look around looking for a table and I saw one by the corner of the room. I scan the room one more time if there was any tables left and my eyes widen as I saw a familiar head sitting on the stools facing the menu.
It was Janice, her blonde hair and spiffy outfit gave it away. She was sipping on a latte while texting on her phone, thank god she didn't see me. I made my way quickly to the corner of the room. I face the other side so she could only see my back. If she was here alone then my ex boyfriend would be at her tail anytime soon.
I took out a book and pretended to read, I angled it towards the side of my face so she wouldn't recognize me at all. I closed my eyes and someone pulled the chair in front of me. I looked up and it was Storm, he sat himself on the chair in front of me.
"Hiding are we?" He said with amusement.
I laid my book down in the table, let my hair fall on the side of my face and leaned closer. "You know, if you keep following me I'd have to call the police."
He chuckled and leaned closer, our face were so close I could feel his breath. "If you wanted to see me in handcuffs, all you have to do is ask. I don't mind being the submissive once in a while." He cocked his head and smirked.
I gently lay my hands on the table and narrowed my eyes, "Yeah. That's not happening."
He also narrowed his eyes "It's a little fetish, I don't mind." He whispered
I grunted and leaned back on my chair. "What are you doing here Storm?"
He leaned back and said "Waiting for people."
I crossed my arms and shook my head, "Your drug buddies or your minions?"
He looked at me like I just said something stupid. "My drug buddies are my minions, Kate." He smiled.
"Great, tell someone who cares." I said trying to get him away from me.
"I'll go tell Janice then." He smirked and my eyes widened as he said her name.
"Okay. Go!" I lightly slap the table. I tried hiding the fact that I was getting angry but it was clearly visible.
"I'll tell her you say hi." He said as he was getting up from the chair. I grab his arm to stop him and he glanced over his shoulder. "Yes, pumpkin?"
"Sit down, you're not talking to that monster." It came out more like a demand. Which I think I am demanding him to do so.
"What's your deal with her?" He pulled the chair out again and sat down.
I sighed as I was shaking my head "She just gets on my nerves! Okay."
"Janice Fisher? Well she's definitely hot. She's got curves going in all the right places. I see why you should be threatened." He eyed her body from head to toe.
I snapped my finger at him trying to gain his attention. "Stop drooling, you look like a bitch."
He put his hand on his chest as he was pretending to be hurt, "And here I thought we were getting along."
