I poured some cereal into a bow and drenched it in milk, I set it aside for Blake to eat when he woke up from his sleep. He usually gets up early to make me breakfast but he was too intoxicated from yesterday so it's understandable for him to get a few more minutes of sleep. I heard footsteps coming closer, must be Blake, I kept my attention on the box of cereal I was struggling to put back on the top shelf.
I felt a hand grab my lower back and I saw Blake taking the box of cereal from my grasp and putting it on the top shelf for me. "I can't really cook so..." I scrunched my eyebrow.
"I made you cereal babe!" I smiled cheekily. He laughed at my comment, "You're a dork. Babe"
"Hey!" I nudged his arm, "I'm a dork that can't cook but can pour cereal. That's a pretty impressive talent if you ask me!"
"Very impressive." He said with a large amount of sarcasm in his voice. I looked at him with a pout, "Thank you, pumpkin." He said causing a faint smile to appear on my face.
He walked over to the kitchen island where I placed his cereal and started eating. I sat across from him and just scrolled through my phone. "What time did you sleep last night?" Blake spoke into his bowl of cereal.
"10?--10:30. After you went to bed." I replied not taking my eyes off my phone.
There was no reply after that. We both just sat and did our own thing until he was finished eating. He dropped his plate into the sink and washed his hands. "Come on!" He cocked his head to the side. Blake's been driving me to school more frequently. Lexi or Jared would usually drop me off after school. I looked up from my phone and I saw that my backpack wasn't beside my feet anymore, it was on Blake's shoulders. I followed him outside to his car and he surprised me again. He came to my side and opened the door for me before he got in.
"Such a gentlemen." I said raising my eyebrows.
"I like it when you say like that." Blake replied causing me to think deeper about his comment.
"What do you mean?" I looked at him in confusion.
He smirked and out his hand on the wheel then faced me, "The first time you said that was when we were at the nurses office after I sucker punched you and I told you to get out. Then you murmured "such a gentleman." But in a more annoyed and irritated way." He laughed.
"How do you remember that?" I asked. Did he really remember such an irrelevant time? Even I forgot about that at this point.
"I don't know, when you said it without annoyance filling your voice, it kinda just reminded me of that." He nodded and started driving.
I shook my head and a smile was painted on my face. Did he really remember such a small thing? This is not helping with the 'stop falling in love with the bad boy' plan.
The drive to school was fast, before I knew it we were already there. The car ride just consisted of me looking out the window or looking at my phone. I caught myself smiling a few times and I'm sure Blake did too. I felt him glance a couple times and when I'd look back at him he'd have a smirk on his perfect little face.
"Kate?" Lexi snapped her fingers in front of my face. My mind was somewhere else but my body was in 2nd period, math.
"Sorry. Huh?" I sat upright to indicate she had my full attention this time.
"Can I borrow a pencil? I forgot my pencil case in my locker."
"Yea, of course." I nodded and grabbed my bag off the back of the chair. When I opened my bag the first thing I saw was a sweater, it was a maroon pullover sweater. It wasn't mine, I didn't have any sweaters that looked like this and this was definitely not my size. I took it out and put it on my desk to get it out of the way from me getting a pencil for Lexi.
