I opened my eyes finally, they didn't feel like bricks holding down to my face.

I looked around the room and I saw medicinal
equipments, I was in the nurse's office. She wasn't there though, maybe she was waiting for me to wake up.

I lightly rub my eyes and sat up. I saw a figure, a tall, attractive male standing over me. He had his phone in his hand texting away.
Storm.

"You're awake. Good. I'm not a murderer yet." He didn't even manage to look at me one bit.

I rolled my eyes "You should consider yourself one anyways since you nearly killed two people today!" I scoffed angrily.

"Woah- Woah!" He threw his hands in the air, like he was surrendering. "You brought that upon yourself! You're the one who got involved between me and that loser." He glared at me with anger in his eyes. If smoke could come out of your ears, his would have it.

"You were beating up the guy! I wasn't the one throwing punches!" I yelled but not loud enough for it to exit the room.
I sat upright and carefully placed my feet on the ground.

"Where the fuck are you going now?" Storm threw his head back and groaned.

"To class, because I wanna succeed in life! Thank you very much!" I replied angrily, I wasn't gonna be nice, he nearly killed Jonah and I, he shouldn't just be forgiven like that.

"Dork." I heard him mumble under his breath.

I turned around and he's still on the goddamn phone. I wanted to smash it to piece to be quite honest. "Excuse me?" I snarled.

"What?" he rolled his eyes.

"Dork? really?"

"Shut up before I hit you again."

"So you did mean to hit me?" I tilted my head to the side.

"Obviously not dumbass!"

"But you'd hit me if you got the chance?" I raised my eyebrows challenging him to answer.

"I would love to but I was raised not to hit a girl." He snarled back at my question.

"Look at that! 17 years of your life and you listened to someone for once!" I scoffed and rolled my eyes.

He was getting annoyed, I could tell. I was enjoying every second of it. "I do listen, to important people. Unlike you." He squinted his eye at me and I stared back trying to intimidate him.

The door opened swiftly and I jumped up a little.
"Stop it! You two!" The nurse scolded at us fighting like two year olds.

"Katherine started it!" Storm yelled back, was he really putting the blame on me? Unbelievable.

"I DID NOT!" I screamed as I defended myself.
Wait. Did he just say my name? He knows my name? Wait what?

"I'm not gonna ask you again. Stop it." The nurse took a big breath in and out, she was getting tired of our childish argument.

"Now, Katherine. You got hit pretty bad." The nurse shook her head and scrunched nose. She lightly touched my jay outlining the bruise.

"I wonder why." I replied with such amusement and I saw Storm's eyes widen as I said that.

The nurse turned to face Storm and pointed at him "Don't reply Storm, you're lucky you're not getting suspended, Don't push it!"

I chuckled a bit from my seat but played it off as a cough.

"Can I go now? What time is it anyways?" I looked around for a clock but I heard Storm reply. "11:45, lunch." He said blandly.

"Ugh!" I groaned and threw my head back. I got up slowly.
