Zed's POV
"I hate you. Right now I hate you so f**king much my heart hurts."
Anger and betrayal marred her innocent face. Her eyes were swimming with sadness and pain that twisted my heart terribly. For somebody so sweet, reserved and angelic, it pains me to see tears ran down her cheeks.
Even I felt worse seeing her like that. Hearing her say those words choked me like no other. How much more the bastard that hurt her? I should have battered him when I had the chance.
When she looked at me, I felt the pain that's in her eyes in every fiber of my being. She'd been through a lot yet she tries to be strong. I think that's what draw me to her that day. Her eyes held so much pain and sorrow, bottled up inside her for a long time. But the light in her eyes held hope.
She'd been screaming for a long time now. I wonder if somebody heard.
"She must be f**king worth so much more than our six years of friendship huh. So much more than us and so much more than Elle too," Buenavista said disdainfully. "Most specially so much more than her!" He looked so red with rage.
"Ang laki mong gago dre. Sana lang alam mo kung ano yang ginagawa umo. Sana alam mo kung ano yung sinira mo. Coz we all know you're better than this!" Mañalac spit out.
Fandino was a definition of pure torment and messed up. How he was able to hurt Elle like that was beyond me.
Buenavista stalked towards him, coming so close to his face. "One day, dude. One day you'll wake up and realize you've lost that one thing that ever mattered. That one thing that kept you going. ." He hissed, eyeing Tasha with disgust. "That'll then remind you how much of a bastard you've become. Until then."
I stepped towards the door. Frantic footsteps following behind. I need to see Elle. I couldn't find them in the long hallway ahead so I turned down the stairs. They must be somewhere below. We run the two flight of stairs down.
We stopped when we heard sobs from a restroom beside the lockers. I held into the jewel of the stairs and closed my eyes tight as the two plopped down the stair steps, muttering a string of curses.
My heart clinched as we listened to their cries. I've worked hard to make her smile more and he just have to crumble it down.
A girl like her deserves so much better. With a heart so pure and loving, she'd been through so much pain. Yet she could only takes so much. I wonder when she would snap.
Then we heard it. A scream so loud and piercing that I bristled.
Elle.
We dashed to the restroom just as Patricia cried for help.
Elle has fainted.
That sight of Elle lying down the floor with her hair scattered loose around her face and her cheeks wet from too much crying would forever be embedded in my memory.
I'd bring hell to the bastard who brought her misery.

I stood silently as Dr. Claro looked at Bryan solemnly. "From the information you provided me, I think your sister may be showing symptoms of depression. Still, we couldn't be sure 'till she wakes up and her condition was monitored. So, I suggest you speak with your mother soon to reach out to your family doctor. But for now, your sister needs proper rest."
I walked out of the clinic, pulled my phone up and dialed a number.
"I want you to do something for me."
