Vaughn's POV

Naglalakad na naman ako sa playground ng Elementary School division namin. It looks like there's a storm coming. Leaves are flying around and the wind is slowly catching speed. Then-

'There she is again. The girl dressed in a black hoodie, red and black-squared and pleatedskirt, red and black striped knee socks and black shoes with her pink guitar ' - this time sitting on one of the swings in the playground. She started strumming her guitar and hummed a tune.

I was standing behind her, listening to her sing that familiar song again. I stepped closer to her but then something snapped and the rhythm stopped at once.

I don't want her to stop. ''Don't stop. Go on...," I said.

She didn't play again though, instead she slowly stood up and started turning towards me.

"KUYAAAA!"

'Mensie....?'

I looked back and saw nothing but I'm quiet sure it was Mensie's voice calling me.

When I looked back at the girl, she was fading.

"Wait...," I tried to reach her hand but then I was pulled by loud knocks and I began falling backwards.

That's when my eyes flew open. I blinked.

Bumabalik na naman yung panaginip ko. It had been 2 years since it started.

"Kuya! Open the door!" Mensie shouted as she pounded my bedroom door.

'This brat's timing really sucks!' I hissed and dragged myself to open the door and stuffed my socks in her freakin' mouth and taped it.

Kidding.

I opened the door and glared at her. Not trusting my mouth to speak nice words. 'Hey! I'm trying to stretch my patience streak here. You try having her as a sister and you'll appreciate a boring day of silence like it's one luxurious vacation. Take my word for it.'

Now, this brat of a sister I'm talking about is currently flashing her thousand-megawatt smile and batting her eyelashes at me like a lovesick puppy.

I sighed. "You have 2 minutes to persuade me." I said flatly. I perfectly knew what she's up to. She needs something.

She actually lightened up upon hearing it. " Kuya, you see I'm really feeling down this week so I thought of inviting ate Arielle over like old times. It's been a long time since she was here. But-sinceyouactuallyblowitoutso Ithinkyouhavetokindofpatchforit. So-!" She stopped dead blabbering when she saw me glaring at her.

She flashed her sweetest smile at me and said in her most charming voice. "Samahan mo naman ako sa Mall..."

I sighed. One of the thousand things I dreaded about being her brother is to have to go shopping with her. Just thinking about having to get dragged from store to store, from first floor to fourth floor in a Mall I don't even have a freakin' idea how large makes me desperately just wanna drop dead.

I looked at her.

"Puh-lease?" she pleaded almost teary-eyed.

Alright! I knew she's not really gonna cry but hell... this girl sure knows how to beg.

"Fine. I'll just hit the shower first." I said almost without energy and closed the door.

I even heard her scream- "Yes!" and "You're the best brother evah!" before she went stomping to her room like stampeding elephants and slummed the door shut.

I felt for my head and massaged my temples.

"She's sure gonna turn me nuts anytime."
