Tasha was scowling at us. "What's going on here?" she interrupted in her famous monotonous voice. When she had a full scan of our faces, she got even more infuriated. "What are you? A bunch of kids?" she hissed.

We all stopped laughing and looked at her.

"Killjoy."

"Party crasher."

"Interloper."

"Gopher!"

The other students interjected with a huff and began to disperse.

"Tsk." Hozzai stood up properly and dried his hands with a tissue. He also handed Steven the box. I moved to him as he started wiping out the ketchup smudges.

Patty faced her. "What do you want?" she asked flatly and sat back on a chair.

"She wanted to join us. Too bad it's over!" Steven teased and he and Patty both chuckled. I pulled a couple of tissues and helped him remove the ketchup from his hair.

Tasha glared at him. Her face getting so red.

Uh-oh! Looks like Steven hit a nerve.

"You might have forgotten Mr. Mañalac that I'm still the President of the Student Body Council and it's my job and responsibility to reprimand misbehaving students like you!" she gritted through clenched teeth. Her hands fisted as well.

Silence.

We all stared at her dumbfounded.

Steven's brow crossed. Patty looked like she's getting irritated.

Hozzai cleared his throat. "Hey. Chill out Ms. Pressy, we're all good here," relax na sabi niya.

From the corner of my eyes, students have started gathering back around us. Their phones up again.

"We're just having a li'l bit of fun Tasha. No need to get all worked out now," I said as calmly as I can. "We perfectly know who you are and your job and responsibilities. It was just pure fun, no harm done."

"What's happening here?" Vaughn was suddenly beside her looking all too confused. His eyes were roving us trying to put pieces together.

"Wala nam-!"

"Well these people are making a scene," she said spitefully still not taking her eyes off me.

I stood still.

"What the!" Steven blurted.

"What!?" Patty shrieked.

"Hey, careful there. You're making it sound like we did something scandalous and destructive here which we didn't in the first place. What's wrong with you?" I quipped quiet annoyed.

"What's wrong with me?! You misbehaved in the school cafeteria but when I settled you down you insulted me," she yelled, fuming.

"What?!" Bessy shrieked and murmured shaking her head, "Oh god. I cannot believe this girl."

Steven piped in and he sounded pissed, "Hey. I only said you wanted to join us but too bad it was over. It wasn't even barely an insult. I was just teasing you. Why are you making such a big deal out of it?"

"Because I was insulted!"

Patty laughed dryly, "Wow. Nainsulto kana dun? Parang ang babaw naman yata!"
