Chapter 9
Dean's POV.

Sam and I walked into a hunters hang out ran by Garth.

A familiar man walked up to us and shook hands.

"Hey,Doug,"I said with a smile.

"Hey,"he smiled back,then turned around,"Come here,sweetheart,let me introduce you to a few folks."

A girl that looked no more than 11 jogged up and stood beside Doug.

"This is my daughter.Sweetheart,these are the Winchesters.Sons of John."

The girl looked like she had to do a double take after she heard 'Winchester.'

She nodded and smiled,"Hey,it's gonna be my first case today.Heard it was with you two,"she said afterward.

"Yea,"Sam cleared his throat and nodded,"Let's go.Don't wanna be late."

As Doug and the girl got in the back seat and me and Sam in the front,I finally asked the girl's name.

"So,what's your name?"

She hesitated,"Jamie."

Doug looked at her confused and 'Jamie' stepped on his foot.

Letting it slip for now,I pulled out of the drive and went to the wood.

We parked the car after I deemed the place safe.We split up,Sam with Doug,Me with 'Jamie.'

Doug handed her a gun,patted her soldier,and went deeper into the left part of the woods with Sam.

I started walking before she reached me and I heard leaves shuffling as she jogged up beside me.

The evening was silent other than the crickets and leaves crunching under our feet.

"Come on,"Jamie muttered,lifting a muddy boot out of a hole.

Chuckling slightly,I walked over to Jamie and investigated the hole,it could be useful.

It was.It had animal bones in it,cleaned and set properly.

Jamie looked at the hole disgusted and backed up,"What would do that?"

"A witch maybe,"I patted her back,"Come on,let's see if we can find a anything else."

Over the walk we got to know each other.

"Have a kid?"she asked finally.

It went silent.

"Oh,"she whispered,"Sorry.Is that why you're in the business?"

Still silence.

"Oh,sorry!My friends always said I was a tad nosy,"she looked down at her feet.

"No,it's fine.And no it's not why I'm in the business."

She didn't ask about my kid again.

When the sun started to set,we turned around and headed back.On the way back,I took a picture of the animal bones.

Sam and Doug were already at the Impala when we walked into the clearing.

"We found something,"I showed them the picture on my phone.

Doug furrowed his eyebrows,"Maybe a witch?"

"Yea,"Sam agreed,"I'm pretty sure it is."

"That's just....awesome,"I sighed and got into the Impala.

We arrived at the bunker with Jamie and Doug.Sam led Doug to what used to be Iden's room while I sat down with Doug at the table to talk business.

Jamie's POV.

"If you see anything,like a picture or book,give it to me or Dean?"Sam said as he showed me the room.

"Why would there be one?"I inquired.

He cleared his throat,"A girl...Dean's kid....stayed in here.Left the next day."

"Why?"I asked,then realized I was being nosey,"Sorry!My friends always say how nosey I am."

"Nah,it's fine.She left cause Dean wanted her safe.I took her to a friend of mine's house."

"What was her name,"I asked sitting on the bed.

"Iden."

I gulped my worry down.What if they did something to her?My friend.

"Gotta go,"Sam said after he saw I had no further questions.

"Yea,"I said,"Go do that."
