Chapter 1
Gasping, he opened two azure eyes and saw that his hand outstretched as if trying to catch something. He blinked and sighed as he got up.
What was that dream? he thought.
He stood up and leaned to a wall eyes closed, trying to stop his pounding heart. He tried to recall his dream, but nothing.
I don't remember...but it somehow feels real and it's like there's something I'm missing. Like a giant jigsaw puzzle.
He was lost in thought that he didn't noticed someone knocking.
"Kyle, are you awake? Breakfast is already ready."
Kyle jumped and opened his eyes. "Ah.. Yeah Mom, I'll just shower first."
"Alright. I'll be in the kitchen then."
He then heard her footsteps fading. He sighed and went to the bathroom. After changing and calming himself, he looked at a mirror. A boy about 16 with pale blond hair that covers his ears and spiked bangs covering his forehead, warm azure eyes with greyish fleck, almost chiseled cheeks, and flawless white skin. He's about 5.8 ft. and was wearing a plain white shirt underneath an unbuttoned checkered shirt, blue fitted jean, white sneakers and a blue crystal necklace. He shook his head and went down.
"Kyle, come eat. I made pancakes and bacon." As she gestured the food on the table. He immediately sat and ate.
Her mother, Catherine Chase, is a tanned-skinned woman with long pale blond hair, bright grey eyes, smooth cheeks, full lips and tiny nose.
She was washing the dishes. "You better hurry or you'll be late for school."
Quickly eating his food, he got up, kissed his mother in the cheeks and left. "Thanks Mom."
He felt a foreboding feeling as he left home. He always trusted his intuition, since it has never failed him yet. He quickly picked up his pace to school.
It can't be that bad, right? he thought,
Oh.. how he was so wrong.
