Chapter Six.

Happiness between Michael and Luke didn't last long. Within a week Calum and Ashton were over almost everyday again. The three would drink, be loud and completely ignore Michael. It was like nothing changed.

Michael was in the kitchen cleaning up his dishes from his late night snack when Ashton and Calum finally left. It was three a.m.

"I can't believe you're still up," Luke slurred over by the couch.

Michael worked on drying the dishes. "How can I? You guys were pretty loud."

Luke laughed. "Is there something wrong with us having fun?"

Michael put down the dishes and walked towards Luke. "No, but you could probably have fun a little quieter at such a late hour."

"And you could stop whining about being tired so early, you're acting like a baby."

"Well I'm sorry I wake up so early so I can get a proper job to support us and our family!" Michael yelled.

"What do you mean support us? And what? I do piss all?" Luke argued.

Michael shook his head. "Luke, you're drunk, go to bed," he looked over. "How many did you have??"

Luke stood up and walked closer to Michael. "What does it matter?"

"Luke! We're having a baby! And this is how you act? Getting drunk and angry every night? You don't want to end up like your dad, do you??" 

Luke didn't even answer. He just gripped Michael's shirt and before Michael knew it, he was slammed against the wall.

"Don't you ever fucking talk about my dad!" Luke yelled.

Michael whimpered and flinched away from Luke, tears burning his eyes. The second Luke's grip loosened Michael was heading for the door.

"Fuck.. Kitten wait!" Luke yelled, but it was too late.

Michael was gone.
